This game is an unbelievable terrible mess of "unfinished". You can see the base ideas what that game "couldve been one day" if it followed those principles. But overall it's barebones barely even considered to be a game.
Achievements are buggy, no updates for over 4 years, barely any gameplay or mechanics that are fully realized.
Definitely don't recommend buying this. Not for the low price it has, not if it is on sale, never.

In general, a good game, Terminal squad: swarmites is an indirect control game where your task is to build a chain of buildings that produce resources for construction or units to destroy the enemy.

This game is somewhat similar to "Tower Defense" but with a more developed system for advancing the level, you can not immediately instruct buildings and wait for victory, you need to think about what and how much to build. The game forces you to think through defense and attack. It is worth mentioning the simplicity of the game itself, it can be played on a weak laptop. I advise you to try to play maybe it will tighten.

it is worth Recalling that Terminal squad is a whole Saga consisting of several parts of a series of games with different gameplay components. Each new part has a unique gameplay and its own chips, as well as they are United by a common universe, which implies a certain plot, albeit indirect. The most important feature of the entire series is that, regardless of the genre, each game has an obvious depth of gameplay. Which we'll talk about a bit, so make a Cup of tea or coffee, and we'll get started.
Gameplay:
To start the mission, you will need at least two actions, choose the type of level, of which there are two:
● Increased initial resources.
● extra coins for winning.
And the second action will be to select modifiers. To perform some actions with modifiers, you need coins. These coins can be spent on improving skills or on "reroll" modifiers that we will meet on this mission. This is necessary to avoid not very successful, negative combinations of modifiers, or to get additional coins.

This game is unfinished, it crashes easily, and has been abandoned by the devs.
I love the tower defence genre and have played some pretty crappy games. Like mobile port to pc where the only settings are turning the music and sound off or on. All that to say, take my review with a grain of salt since what's decent for me could be unplayable for you. Overall, it's a 4/10
The Gameplay
It's extremely basic, with abrupt difficulty curves everywhere. You choose a path, which only affects the rewards for the level, and get some randomizers. Effects like "enemies have a chance to split in two on death" or "enemy buildings reflect 25% of the damage dealt." You have five buildings, only having 3 at the start and 4 on the next level. This makes it so many people struggle to pass the first level as with insufficient knowledge and buidlings that box you in (the abrupt difficulty curve). Room layout varies between levels, mostly random and increases in size later on. Overtime you get skills you can upgrade and use during the levels to help against the waves which cost resources.
Problems
The pathfinding is awful. You will find soldiers stuck on buildings or in the corner of a room walking endlessly. The UI is utter trash; icons look like they're drawn in ms paint, there's little to no information given, and the descriptions you do get have typos. People say the graphics are bad, but I personally like the style. What urks me is the music that is so trash you question if it's a placeholder that never got removed. It's like it wasn't even given a passing thought as to how annoying the same dozen notes would be over and over again. The randomized effects on levels are supposed to give it some replayability, but just determine if it's hard to beat or an absolute cakewalk. The crashes are incredibly easy to cause and often makes it so you have to restart your pc entirely. The settings are abysmal, giving only basic options for music and sound along with resolution (mobile game standards). Also, nothing is explained, they just expect you to figure it out through trial and error. No tutorials or anything of the sort.
There's so many underlying issues, both simple and complex, that make it hard to enjoy the game. I say that with 20+ hours playtime, because the gameplay loop is fun. There's interesting ideas here. But it's just that. The moment I started playing the game it felt more like a proof of concept than an actual game. I still feel that way, even with the length. Get it on sale if you're interested, but most should probably avoid it (a lot of the 20+ hours is just the matches taking 15 minutes to finish and there's no fast forward button btw [and completely restarting due to crashes]).

Horrible game full of bugs where after the first mission which is just a lazily done endless attack of mobs ends up crashing my pc on exit. It did not help that many of the soldiers i was sending against the enemy kept getting stuck on the environment unable to move any further. Sound effects are almost non-existent with the same single grunting sound by the enemy creatures where i thought it was the human soldiers because of their human sounding grunt.
A bug riddled mess best avoided while wishing all involved in its creation a successful path in life where each step is a victory forward in experience.

The game seemed like a cheaper TD game, but the first mission is near endless. On top of that, when I did finish the mission, it completely crashed my computer. White screened everything. I had to unplug the whole system just to solve the problem. Would not recommend.

Simply horrible.
Under-explained, ridiculously unbalanced, and simply not worth it even for free. No fluff at all, a simple story would have taken a few minutes, but too much effort it seems.
Controls are atrocious, how hard it is to move your view of the map with a ASWD keys? Sometimes if you push the mouse to an edge it moves, but not always.
The core of the game is a series of square rooms connected by corridors. Each room can hold up to nine towers. As the game progresses, you eventually have five types you can build. Barracks, resources, energy, turret and research.
As you advance your towers, they must remain connected to the base, though for some odd reason there is a mechanism to disconnect and reconnect them. Not sure why.
You get a series of skills, I think, drone, overload, barrier and adrenaline. None seem particularly useful, half the time the drone returns to base without even reaching the battle. Adrenaline lasts a few seconds, after which your troops die if they take any damage.
They can be upgraded, something I discovered by accident, not sure if they ever get really useful though, as they (like most things in the game) get very expensive, very quickly.
Only the research remains at a fixed price, which it should as it never actually gets any better, no matter how many times you spend money on research, it lasts a few seconds, then goes away.
Add it all together, and it simply isn't very fun. with a lot of time spent waiting (and waiting) (and waiting) to get enough money to build the next tower you need.
There only seems to be two types of battles, winning so quickly you didn't know it was happening, and deadlocks where the tower spawns monsters faster than you can kill them, sometimes a new wave while the previous wave is still there, and the base regenerates so fast that even the few shots you might get in are meaningless.
If you do win a battle, you get a choice between two levels, one labeled money and the other resources. As resources seems to be your money however, have yet to see how they differ.
It is also really ugly, but ugly is forgivable if the game is decent, this one isn't.
It would be nice if there was a way to restart the game, once you learned a few things, but I couldn't find one.
Two forceful thumbs down.
Avoid at all costs.

I have played this game becouse of NOGAEMS syndrome. And it is a huge disappointment. Gameplay is strange – I must fight looking alike monsters with 3.5 available buildings. Animations are ugly, sounds are poor. Graphics... dear God, what is this? 640 pixels in width? Why building icons are so gross? Why I can`t move the screen with arrow buttons? Why is the music so annoying? Final ultimate of this nightmare is contentiously shaking screen.
I feel bad for myself buying games like this. Negative emotions only.

I like old-style games, so I decided to buy this game, as it reminded me of the games of my childhood, well, let's start with the pros of the game:
+ You need to think through your steps to be successful in this game
+ Intuitive interface, looks good
Disadvantages of the game:
I don't really like the graphics, I think it looks too old, I've seen a few old-style games, but they used the new game development technologies, they looked very good and enticing
