W game, I don't understand the hate around it fun with friends

hate it. in short: don’t buy it. i love south park, and it’s games (i only played fractured but whole and… whatever the heck i’m playing and doing a review for) but this game is unbelievably HORRIBLE. i was excited to play a game about a tv show i really liked, and so much so, i bought it the first day it released! (a year ago) and when i launched the game, it seemed really fun, except, it didn’t really have south park’s humor and jokes, and it was really BUGGY. and that multiplayer? absolute garbage. i was talking to my friends and forced myself to say that i liked the game even tho i didn’t, honestly, i wished i could have refunded this when i had the chance, but… now i can’t. in conclusion, if you’re looking for sloppy games with horrible humor and being a buggy mess with horrible combat and gameplay, this game is for you.

I got this game recently thinking it would be fun like they other south park games but its just really really bad. It's like they took the 3D from the south park game on the N64 updated the graphics. Made the combat boring, barely put any effort into story or dialog. I look at the dlc and only got thr free ones because nothing on the paid dlc was worth it. The free ones werent really worth it either. So I do not recommend the game if your looking for fun. Get the Stick of truth or fractured but whole if you want to enjoy a south park game.

its so bad.... doesnt feel like a south park game, not enough humour and not much of a story like the other games, i bought it to give it a chance but wish i didnt bother so boring! stick to the good games like "stick of truth" and "fractured butthole" i completed it in 8 hours and im not an amazing gamer

I've been on and off with south park for a long time now. I started watching the show at the age of six in the 90's and loved the 64 games that was out at the time. over the years I've played new south park games and felt that it did not hit like the feeling I had back then on the early games. This game did just that. Love the story a lot. Feels like the show and the look is just right. My only thing is we need more weps and dlc from other ep's and movies that have passed . Thank's for the game guy's and I hope there's more added to this game soon.

Great game! needs a bit more too but worth it for a good laugh and some fun and chill grinding with friends

I had high hopes for this game, yk a fun new rpg, with card power mechanics. maybe it could be a perma death, or have a build swapper. nope it's a horrendous version of happy dungeons as you don't even get more powerful as the game progresses, as every stage has you start out from zero. it's not a roguelike, but instead a stupid dungeon crawler where you don't even progress.

It plays terrible looks bad. Plus it had the audacity to start out 2d and then transfer over to this horrible 3d art style if you want a good south park game play stick of truth of fractured but whole.

THE ONLY REVIEW YOU NEED TO READ: its fun. it is. does it get boring after 3-4x times completing the same chapter? Yes. is the story faster to finish than me in bed? No, but its close. As i dont last 3 hours, thats the time it takes to complete the chapters. I appreciate what south park did in attempt to make this a unique game. It plays well but just gets stale faster than your overplayed "favorite" song. They did add multiple DLCs to make this playable for a fortune that should not be spent. Id rather go to Casa Bonita and rip $30 on some drinks. TLTR: cool game. stale quick. Buy if <$15

I wish this game was a lot longer but otherwise I thought it was a nice change of pace switching to an action game instead of turn based. I also loved the switch to 3D and South Park looked really nice in this one. Even though it's shorter than the other games it's still hilarious and the stages were fun to play through. There's a good bit of stuff to upgrade and cards to unlock but you'll have to repeat stages to do so. I'd say pick it up on sale and it's worth it to me!
