Terrible game, i thought there was going to be more infernal stuff, instead one goopy alien, one poop monster and half a torso, if you get hit by one single shot you die, and go back to level 1 , no power ups and the same music loops after 20 secs, with a very bad cut, at least the game gave me a taste of inferno with looping the music and impossible gameplay. nice graphics tho but very basic the eye of the thingy was poorly drawn and literal no backstory nor voice. dont expect anything, i bought this when it was 90% off but its not even worth that. spare yourself from hell and avoid this.

This game, while it does show a good amount of effort put in by the developer.. just lacks substance and mostly lacks "fun" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4tWjauJLa8 It's hard to believe that my review is the first review for this game that has now been on Steam for almost a year now. I really hoped it might offer a good value and fun at it's current 90% sale price when I purchased it moments ago, but sadly those hopes quickly faded. You can only be one character, the wizard looking sprite shown in the trailer. He is very limited and feels very limited in his power because he has no ability to melee at all and can only shoot red blobs in 8 different directions. The shooting feels very lack luster and requires you to face which direction you want to shoot. While this might make sense, it would just feel better if your character faced which ever direction you shot, rather than requiring you to face the intended direction and then shoot. There is no inventory, no loot, no experience, no health bar, no mana, no spells, no new attacks, no character upgrades, no nothing except moving to different rooms with what seems like a handful of different creatures. There is no way to customize your keys at all and I was shocked to try mouse and keyboard to see that neither mouse button would shoot for me, and I had to use WASD to move and it took me several minutes of trying different buttons to discover that the J button is your shoot button. This just feels janky and awkward and why shoot isn't tired to the space bar or left mouse button blows my mind. Adding the frustration of playing the game is that if you make one wrong move and get hit just once, you're dead and have to start the game completely over. ARGH! I can't recommend this game even at it's current 90% off sale... and at its ridiculous asking price of $15 USD, this game scores a ZERO in my book. It offers co-op either local or through remote play and offers controller support, but these features don't make a game this bland any better. NOT RECOMMENDED. One dollar is too much to ask for this, and asking $15 is pure insanity. The game just doesn't offer any substance to support that kind of price tag.
