It's simple, challenging and satisfying to play. Worth looking at, expect great things from the developer.

It is a simple game but has a good challenge and hits the right balance between being relaxing but still requiring some good gaming strategy.
Art style is fun. My only major gripe is that there isn't good feedback for when you get shot. Should add some camera shake or something because it's kind of hard to know if you are in the danger zone sometimes.
For the price this is an easy recommendation from me. You can easily kill a few weekends with this and return time and again for some casual fun.

A deceptively 'cute' looking game that comes with some extensive strategy and action elements!
I liked it enough to do a quick look (curated gameplay and commentary) here: https://youtu.be/Su1iS7WhSgY
Were you able to beat my best? Let me know!

Best $5 bucks you can spend on a solid, challenging, action packed tower defense! I've been following the development of this game and I think all of Dabster Entertainment's hard work paid off. I intend to spend more time with lil' sherman but wanted to give my toot salute so that if you are looking to engage in rpg elements, upgrade not only your towers but your tank and grow a hatred toward mini tanks, get. this. now.

A great concept and so much potential, but the interface is non-intuitive and the difficulty ramps up super fast. It really needs some built-in tutorials and a much better UI. Even with the super low price, it's hard to recommend.

its really cute and cool BUT breaking a module you worked hours to get when you try to upgrade it is REEEEEEEEEAAAAAAALLLY annoying this should be a 1% chance of happening especially when your in the late game and the module that was carrying you the whole breaks and it even happens often

Liked the look of the Artwork, and the idea of upgrading a basic tank into something much more effective.
Where the game falls flat on its face is movement, combat and pretty much everything else. The playing area is restricted and movement is by WASD but its jerky and nowhere near as controlled as it needs to be. Your defence is partly armour, partly movement and line of sight. Which works OK till you are just swarmed by 3-5 opponents. To shoot its the right mouse button and you have to guess deflection.
So what happens is you kill three or four tanks then its game over and you go back to the workshop. Maybe you've enough for an upgrade and you find some of the upgrade are designed for specific missions and not really helpful.
All the while there's inane thematic shouting.
It all depends if you find the game funny, entertaining or in any way gripping.
I couldn't get past the first map. Don't think it comes even close to simulating a Sherman or armoured warfare.

if you search for a quick fun acion based tower defence game, lil' sherman is the right call for it. It is pretty simple and easy to get into. You can build turrets (ofc xD) to help you fight against the ongoing onslaught of the german tanks.
The game as such has a couple of in Battle upgrades as it has some upgrades for your tank in between battles in form of
3 Types of main guns
- Tank gun
- Shotgun
- Flak cannon
3 Types of Secondary weapons
- Mashine gun
- Twin rocket launcher
- Rocket pod (like the Calliope)
same goes for the shermans armor and engine.
There are 6 Different kinds of turrets/towers for you to place down and each one of them has different strongpoints so it is best to try them out and see how they do.
The campaign might be short with 4 lvls but each map brings a different kind of challlenge, if it is multiple attack directions or different kinds of enemys. After the campaign u still have the option to play the endless mode which are the same lvls as in the campaign but you fight until u die ^^
The controls are very easy. Every button you need is displayed on screen anyway and you have always the option to switch the type of tank control in real time which is a rly nice feature IMO
In total:
A Fun and nice Action Tower Defense game if you have little time to spare. It is definitely worth the price. It's weirdly addicting to gather the ressources in battle and place down lines of towers and mixing the different tower types to beat the enemy. It feels very statisfying

UI and controls are really bad and counter-intuitive. Some fun but wasn't quite ready to be released.
