I thought it was fun at first, god games of this kind are somewhat uncommon, it's an itch that never seems to be scratched.
However, the dev is kinda lazy, adding things nobody wants and teasing us with a supposed "Big Update" which just straight up is very unlikely. I'd rather he made the game easier to mod or something so the people can do what he's too lazy to do, because that way at least people can get a good game within their lifetime.

I love this game, but updates continue to be promised but never delivered on. The last change to any mechanics was in 2023 even though new mechanics are teased every month or 2. Ill update this when the game gets updated... so probably never

No update since June 2023, which was mostly just new visuals. Dunno why this next massive update HAS to be released all at once. But I also haven't been working on this EA game for 7 years. (Congrats on beating DayZ)
If this next update doesn't bang I'm uninstalling. I can't watch the Dzz Og orc nation obliterate every living thing without green skin for the 450th time while I watch Severance on a dodgy site off reddit.

Just a fun game to play when traveling or really just want to be creative. this is a game you will play for years. not everyday, but whenever you want to relax, watch a movie or tv show and just chill. seriously, i love this game!

No update in almost 2 years is crazy, having to install third party programs to use mods despite having a steam workshop is certainly a choice

fun but after a couple hours theres really 0 content to be explored. most mods i found are broken and even then they suck.

This game is a classic. It's so fun to leave it running in the background and watch as worlds fall and build themselves again. I love it.

The game is pretty good. It is very interesting, and the proposal is amazing. No other game that I know of on Steam has such potential like this. However, the time it takes to update is far beyond necessary. Two years without anything is ridiculous, and I cannot undermine the impact of this on the game. We may see some changes now in 2025, but it is very bad that the developer essentially leaves the game devoid of news for so long. I hope this will be the last time we see such huge gaps between updates. You may be luckier buying it now—only time will tell.

Either wait for the update that SHOULD be coming soon, or play the free mobile copy. There are no reasonable excuses for a lack of any feature updates in 23 months while still charging $20 for a mobile game port. There are a lot of other games that are more deserving of that amount of money. Don't get me wrong, this is a really fun game, but don't incentivize the developer to keep stretching out the wait for the so-called 'big' update. What most people thought would take 6 months turned into 2 years, while teasing his playerbase. Will update this review after the new update finally releases- if it even does.
