This game is really boring. There is no indication that anything needs to be cleaned or done. It also would say that I clicked on an action that I did not click on frequently. I do not recommend.

This is a cute time killer game. I play it while I play mt cell phone games. I am hoping for the Devs to add more to it like shopping for house hold items, a date night, and to be able to talk to my BF. Some trading cards would be nice too! 4.5/10

Better Boyfriend is a game about getting your lazy-lazy boyfriend to make your bed without telling him to. Sounds like my childhood.
Gameplay
First thing's first, you got to create your dream boyfriend, and then his dream girlfriend. He'll wander around the house, doing boyfriend things. Your job (as the girlfriend) is to make him do productive things, until he starts doing those things on his own volition (without you telling him to do 'em).
- My Gameplay -
My boyfriend's name is "Bob", and he's a green-eyed blondie in B&W jumpsuit. He's my prisoner. My girlfriend's name is "Bridge", because Bridgette is too mainstream. She's a brown eyed brunnete who rock's a tee 'n shorts, 'cus that's the style I rock. I told Bob to make the bed. He proceeded to make a run for the door. . . story of my life.
Story
You play as a very lazy boyfriend and a very naggy girlfiend. He wants to wander around the house and play videogames all day, and she wants someone who'll work-work-work in her best interest all day. So she decides to pester him all day long, until he decides to start working (for her) full-time.
It's either that or listen to her complain.
Visuals
I the titlescreen was delightful. It wasn't animated, nor was it sprawling with visual effects. But the visual elements all looked great! What was not delightful was the animations and (un-mutable) music. Having to mute an application from Windows "App preferences" is unacceptable. The in-game assets were all over the place, from stylistic avatars to photorealistic wardrobes. The characters moved like paper cut-outs, and the visuals as a whole fell flat.
Their house is definitely not fire safe. I don't think any building inspector would have approved of their house.
Verdict
I think this game needs to see some updates before I'd recommend it. If this looks like an interesting title to you, "follow" and "wishlist" it. Until you see some meaningful progress, I'd hold off on that purchase.
Words for the Devs
I think there are three major problems with this title. One, there's a lack of adjustable settings (such as sound or graphics). Two, there's a lack of features. Perhaps making the boyfriend work might net money, which can be used to upgrade the house and buy new items, opening new tasks and rewards for the boyfriend. Or, maybe the player can go shopping for clothes and furniture. Three, the graphics need work. I discussed my issues with the graphics under "Visuals". I would have liked to have seen characters actually eat, sit 'n sleep. I'm sure I could go on-and-on, but I hope to see this game grow up.
