Wreckfest 2 Reviews

The overhauled physics engine has left me feeling entirely unimpressed, all vehicles now handle like a building brick on filing cabinet caster wheels. SURE the game looks good. but that's not a trade off for physics and net-code that are markedly worse than the first game.

Wreckfest 2 lacks what I enjoy in Wreckfest is the racing its feels like that took a major backseat in Wreckfest 2. We don't even get a mini track map while we are racing. The Bots suck at racing I'm not looking for clean racing in a game called Wreckfest 2 but it would be nice to have the type of racing against the bots we had in the first game because they are very good at racing. The only positive I can say about Wreckfest 2 is the new crash physics which are very good. Ill come back in month or two see if this game improves.

Far too early access to be enjoyable right now. Wanted to try it out cause I love the first game, but with no campaign or leveling up cars yet and lots of stuff missing including optimization and even music, it has a ways to go. Does it have potential? Definitely. I'm not sure how they are going to make it that much different from the first game, however. From my brief exploration, seemed pretty much the same except with new courses and better graphics. Is that enough to justify this game over the first one though? I am unsure. Knowing me, I will probably get this game once v1 is released, but until then, it's a no...

I loved the first game and I'm sure I'll love this one too.. when I can play it. Right now there is a bug that crashes the game at launch because I have USB foot pedals plugged in (for accessibility). When I unplug them the game runs fine. Since it's in early access I won't thumbs down them for that, but if it doesn't get fixed within a reasonable time, I'll be back to complain.

[b] I'm a big fan of the first Wreckfest game, I bought the game to support the developers. [/b] At its current stage, the game features several tracks, several cars, and a multiplayer mode. The physics are surprisingly good, especially considering it's classified as an "arcade" game — you could even say they’re close to simulator-level quality. And while the game is still in early access, all that’s left to do is keep improving your skills on the various tracks.

Best racing game on market. Arcade but deep driving system what use gamepad analog elements on hard, exept most other games. Avesome deformation model (and dev improve them in updates). Avesome graphics and style of cars. I will be recomend the game after release but even in this state game plays very great! All I need it's more content and single player company! 🔥

do people understand what early access means? It's still in EARLY development. If you have improvement suggestions - The discord is where you chat to the devs. - Leaving a negative review on a game that you yourself admit has massive potential is not productive.

This game felt so good until content update 2 now the latency and lag makes the game feel terrible. I used to be able to play on eu servers all day with no issues and now the game feels like a slushy mess.

I really enjoy this game. My only gripe is that I keep getting in accidents due to there being no horn functionality

The game is just a demo version, there is absolutely no content, the graphics are beautiful, the physics are gorgeous, but you have to wait for the full release, there is nothing to do for now. I bought it to support the developer.
