The music box puzzle made me cry so hard, what kinda core is this cause I love it so much, Soundtracks amazing and the story line is amazing too. Sometimes I pick something up when I mean to rotate it, but other than that, I love the puzzles & the music

Puzzles were fun. Game was short but I guess that's okay with the cheap price. There were some voice acting lines and a brief story but I didn't pay much attention to it, I just wanted to do the puzzles. The reason for the thumbs down is just because the controls were so infuriating, for this "cozy puzzle game" the controls made me so angry. Rotating items when I didn't want it rotating, like trying to grab the screwdriver but the game thought I was wanting to rotate. Trying to slot things back into place but instead it put the main piece to one side so I could inspect the smaller piece instead. Having to move my mouse half a mile just to unscrew things. As your trying to piece things back together the person would then talk over you and interrupt your gameplay telling you that you had missed a screw when you were still screwing the last few back in together. Great ideas for puzzles, but the 1.1 hours I spent playing the game, I was mad for about 45 minutes of it. Mad enough to write this review.

great game to relax, but the game does not allow to change the screen resolution

I highly recommend this game for people that love reading and stories in general. However if you're like me and like things that are gameplay focused i would still recommend but just be mindful there wont be much game left for you. I prefer games that are mostly gameplay with story sprinkled in that i can unravel and figure out myself as I go through. However this is heavily a story that tells you about the characters and the world with gameplay sprinkled in at the end of each chapter. Overall this game felt more like an audiobook with a couple fun levels, but not enough "game" for me. I still enjoyed it, the music and art was amazing and the voice acting was professional. But I never got invested in the characters because things were just being told to me. I would've been more interested if I was fixing this dad's items and it got me to wonder about his life and family and i could gradually put the pieces together on what his life was like. Which is kinda essentially what happened but because of the heavy exposition and story like structure I just skipped through. So again this game was beautiful and I highly recommend if you're a reader or love audio books. Just wasn't for me. Still had some fun though with the gameplay it had.

A short but very beautiful game. The story this game takes you through is very well written and I really like the gameplay. The voice acting is top notch. I'd buy this game for full price and I highly recommend playing it!

A nice, heartfelt, short puzzle\visual novel crossover kind of game. While to me the themes and some of the dialogue felt kinda trope-y the presentation and voice acting are very well done. The color palette is as warm and vibrant as is the whole mood of the game and all of the characters are quite lovable. The whole fixing mechanic works as a relaxing puzzle element but also to contemplate the stories going on in the game. Nowhere does the game ever gets challenging, nor does it needs to be. This is just a short and enjoyable experience to have and cherish. Would recommend, especially at sale.

A precious little game. I already owned it on mobile and saw they'd made a computer version! I'd pay for extra levels if they ever made them.

Super casual 'day in the life' game that while not long, is actually pretty engaging, even for adults. Working holiday narrative, nice art style and pretty straight forward reassembly 'puzzles' mised in. Got it in a bundle and I think for like 80% off its an automatic yes, 7/10. Break even 5/10 for me would be at 33% off.

cute game and nice story but man are the controls infuriating i always see others saying it's a calming and chill game, but if i took a shot for each time i grabbed something when i meant to rotate it, rotated something when i meant to grab something or it would straight up not register me trying to do anything i'd be down for the count in minutes. really wish i could get a refund but it's well past that point so that's a few bucks down the drain ig
