Hardly any other bus has shaped the cityscape as much as the MAN DN95. This double-decker bus, originally called MAN ND202, belongs to Berlin like the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag or the TV tower.

It is not bad, the model is nice, engine sounds are spot-on but...
Many of the textures and equipment sounds (Blinds, buttons, Handbrake, Brakes etc.) are reused assets from the default MAN's.
Regardles it is still a good bus just not necessarelly worth the full price, it is best bought on a sale.
Also one of the previous revievers mentioned missing variants and options found in the manual. In fact they do exist but are separate models found in the MAN tab of the bus spawner. Just look for busses labeled as DN95 or ND202 it the previously mentioned tab.

I like the actual model and availible textures, but the textures are too powerful for my system, and the bus turns white on me! I run a quad core I5 with a 710! I also have for 4g fix applied! I'd just wish they'd offer low version textures only!

Good model and sounds, the bus drives very well in game with no lag.
However, it's a complete pig to repaint. Is it really too difficult to provide a white template for people to use instead of one with multiple layers with different parts of the repaint on it? It's completely unusable if you want to produce a non-BVG repaint. Disappointing.

Pretty cool, until the stupid AI people glitch at the doors and can't exit the bus, leaving the back doors open and totally blocking the bus. Also, sometimes pasengers have to walk all over both of the decks before exiting, or they push the stop button only when I engage the door clearance, which is kind of annoying.

An old addon I know - its a nice bus to drive and sounds good. Its a shame a number of sounds (eg sunvisor, handbrake etc) are just re-used from the original SD200/202 models. A few irritating bugs - the IBIS Almex version is quite buggy and doesn't always work first time around. There is also an issue where passengers walk around aimlessly in circles onboard - if you stop and open the doors, the bus stop light will flash up and they will get off - but only after you arm the exit doors with the bus stop brake.
Overall its nice if you can live with the bugs!

The DN95 was used in Berlin from 1995 to 2010. When it was used by the BVG, it had limiations placed on it due to the height of 4.12m (the typical BVG Double Decker bus was usually 4.06, and had permission to pass under bridges with a 4m clearance.) It now finds life as a sightseeing bus , as well as a museum piece that is used from time to time via Traditionsbus.
With that said, there have been patches that had the new repaints and variants included. The bus seems to drive well, and the doors are functional, but with that said, it is hard to say if it justifies the 12.99 USD price.
Pros:
+Another Double Decker bus for Berlin.
+Multiple repaints and models, including the DN94 prototype.
+Decent detail.
+Automatic announcements for stops.
+FFB works out of the box, no need to modify files to actually get it working.
Cons:
-Textures could be a little better. They're not the worst, but it almost feels like something from a beta or even a more advanced alpha. Some of the textures in the interior seem very hard to read.
-Not all functions of the bus works, maybe "fake" buttons that cannot be clicked on, including the leaning bus function.
-Non-sale Price is a little high for just a single bus type, without too much detail. There are other Bus DLC packs that offer more and sold at a lower or similar price.
Overall, it isn't a bad addon, but it could be better, if I had to rate out out of 10, I would likely give it a 7/10, largely due to the missing functions and the textures. If you're expecting something to the level of the Citybus i280 or the O405, this may not be the addon you're expecting, but if you want something decent that fits within the base game, this might be worth a look.

Pretty good bus that's let down by a few flaws.
This bus looks and sounds pretty good, it's very well modelled and has average quality textures. It feels nice to drive as well, and fits right in on most maps, but was obviously designed with Berlin in mind.
That being said, it has its fair share of issues. The manual and product page mentions various repaints that seemingly aren't included, you only get a basic retro BVG one. It only has a flip-dot matrix, even though the page also mentions that it's supposed to come with an LCD variant as well. And, again, despite the manual and page mentioning a choice between either an ALMEX or IBIS, but you can't, there's just the ALMEX. There's a small display on top of the dashboard with a few buttons you can press (up, down, q), which I assume is supposed to be a bus stop display, but it doesn't work or even display anything.
All you get is a single bus with a single variant that can't be customized, even with the options that the product page and manual mentions, but are nowhere to be seen.
If you're dying to have another double-decker, and don't mind the lack of features, it's a pretty decent bus. Otherwise, hold off until an update hopefully arrives.
