Cute & short indie horror. Fully voiced which is super nice for a laid back game.

[i] My Experience [/i] I've played a few compelling games about conversing with A.I.'s, most notably Event[0] and Rumu. I was a big fan of those games, so I decided to see what aspects of conversing with an A.I. Em-A-Li explored. Unfortunately, Em-A-Li is first and foremost a horror game, and any exploration of ideas seemed to me like a distant second priority. While it's possible that a potential player might ruminate on the events of the story, it seemed to me that the developer's foremost intent is the frighten. Therefore, I can't say I really enjoyed my time with the game. That being said, developer Yobob did an excellent job setting an ominous mood using only the RPGMaker toolset. The game is bug-free and competently made.

Really enjoyed Em-A-Li. Wonderful job on the voice acting, fully voiced rpg maker games is always a nice experience. It is really short (30 min if you interact with everything in game) however its still a neat little indie game.I was hoping that there would be multiple endings based on a few choices or if you died, but the game didn't need multiple endings to still be enjoyable. I look forward to more like this!

This is a pretty interesting and satisfying story to play, its slightly short but pretty neat!

Very interesting game that breaks the 4th wall in an interesting way. I really enjoyed it. Voice Actress nails it, too!

One of the best pixel style, story driven, horror games I've played. Very creative, Good story, and keeps you interested. Short. About 30 min. Perfect for a YouTube video, a stream, or just a good experience.

So... I just finished Em-A-Li in less than 40 minutes, which is rather unusual for a game that revolves around such a serious topic as AI.... And while it was very short-lived, I can't say it's bad per se. Although I have to agree with previous speakers that it lacks interaction and there are some free games that are a bit more appealing in terms of their look, plot and execution, I still understand the price because of the love that the creators obviously put into the game. It's definitely something I appreciate and can recommend others to check out.

This game is very short but pretty decent for it's price. It has nice voice acting and good horror vibes without chasing scenes and jumpscares. It's pretty straightforward but ends before getting boring and repetitive. Overall worth giving it a try :3
