Warning: Asset Flip!

Spot The Differences 2020 | 大家来找茬 2020 is an asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated someone else's template for making a "spot the differences" iPhone game, changed the name, put in some stock images they stole off the internet, and submitted it to Valve as if it was their own game. Of course the "developer" did not credit the actual artists who created the images they stole, and are now trying to scam you into paying money for. Sounds really unethical, doesn't it? But that's what's happening here.
Here's one of the images they stole:

Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic 2D art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the lacklustre 2D visuals.
The game features mostly static, barely animated 2D images, the kind of thing you expect to see in browser/flash games. While the artwork itself, while mediocre, might be considered passable, the visual presentation here is negligible, it might as well be a slideshow or a Youtube video. Pac-Man, Space Invaders and Asteroids had more advanced animation and visuals going on than this game does.
The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just iPhone screen tapping stuff. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here.
This looks and feels like a mobile app, but I wasn't able to find it on the app stores. Maybe it was removed, maybe it was rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all).
Regardless, for all intents and purposes "Spot The Differences 2020 | 大家来找茬 2020" might as well be a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones and play games that might as well be mobile apps.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 4 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected.
Spot The Differences 2020 | 大家来找茬 2020 is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. Because this is the kind of game you can just play for free on mobile phones, it's impossible to recommend anyone should pay money for the same experience on Steam.

Profile Features Limited!

Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.

The only "problem" with the game is there isn't enough levels :-P like all of this type, we're always hungry for more levels. Sadly I think I'll finish this in a day. Still worth it, but I wish more levels were added.

This is a quick and easy game to pick up and enjoy. It's not a dedicated game and may feel a little hard for newbies considering it doesn't have hints. The level of difficulty can spike up on random levels. Not enough lewds lol jk although if it had different variations of other scenery or people or places. That would be awesome. 50 levels feel likes it's not enough for a person that likes this genre of game. P.S. The Asian castle level had two big differences on the top and bottom and I felt a bit cheated since I clicked on it and apparently it wasn't the actual difference. The developer should fix that.
Pros:
-Accessible to anyone
- Catchy song
- Good quality photos
- Unity which allows 4k
- Positive and easy to navigate menus
Cons
- Some Differences are obvious... used the magic wand tool in photoshop to remove it
- Random difficulty spikes (Not so much a con though)
- No hints for newbies
- Not enough content

Simply not a very good game. It also doesn't seem to have the Nudity that was a Steam tag in the store when I bought it.
The lack of nudity would have been a minor point if it had been a decent spot the differences game though.
For started, I feel like it should be standard my now for games of this type to have a second pointer in the reflection to show you where you are at.
They also rely very heavily on differences in color, sometimes even to shades of the same color. Too often I have had to resort to mass clicking the pictures to find the third difference.
(I would be curious to know if anyone actually spots all three in image three with the dog on the boat.)
The music is also very repetitive and irritating.
I think I paid about a buck, and it was too much.
Two thumbs down.
