I've played this and Half-Genie Hero so far. I don't remember that much from HGH, but I think I like this entry more. Pros: + Tons of cute and sexy monstergirls and art, even more than usual. + The story feels more structured and coherent than HGH (in the sense of "same quest different content"), and gives me a feeling of how far I've progressed and how far there is left to go. Although ofc it's still just an excuse plot. + The abilities/transformations are simpler, and more convenient (e.g. you auto-transform when you need an ability). Nice QoL. Cons: - I can see why some people call this a weak entry. It feels somewhat shorter than HGH (I finished my first run in one sitting). And some content, especially later (e.g. the 4th boss; the final level; the dance minigame; and grinding for the last monster cards like this is Terraria), become a slog. - There is no in-game help/hints to help you 100% the game. I've scoured the whole map, and for the life of me I don't know where the last Nugget is. (Yes I've talked to the Science Team.) At least tell me SOMETHING, like the percentage completion of each zone, to help reduce my search space. Right now, it's just insulting my time to keep visiting every room in the whole map looking for that final piece to unlock the last content.

Very solid metroidvania, with some really funny moments. Also fun to replay once or twice for achievement hunting.
