It is mostly a pleasant experience for the small price, where you get to walk and probably get lost in more than 5 different maze levels with pleasant background sounds of rustling leaves or wind etc with a bit of simple tune. I almost left a negative review because of the frustrating first level experience , namely the developers decision to make the way out, disguised as a dead end wall ! But once you find it it after min 4:05 on the youtube link below, the remaining levels are fun and without hidden triggers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7eZnOCwaIY&ab_channel=%EC%9A%B0%EC%99%81%EA%B5%B3%EC%9D%98%EA%B2%8C%EC%9E%84%EB%B0%A9%EC%86%A1

This is a good maze game and it is very cheap! Despite what the other English reviewer states, there is an exit! I've always liked mazes and am quite good at them. This is a challenging game which requires patience as you systematically work your way out. The story is that you landed on an alien world and touched a tree. That separated your body and spirit. You are trying to reconnect with your body and have to navigate your way through some mazes to find portals back home. The world is dying and there is no life that you encounter. Game play is a walking simulator which has both run and walk functions. Jumping will be required later in the game. For those whose reflexes are not good, this is easy to play as there are no timed sections. Forgotten Ways has 4 different environments and mazes. You escape one and enter another. The walls have messages in different languages and drawings which help you to get your bearings. There is no action or jump scares, so suitable for children. But the maze will be much too hard for them to solve unless you have a little genius in the household! There are mainly sound effects of wind and rustling leaves, with just a little haunting music. Mouse and keyboard respond well to directions. I came across no bugs. There is a good save function, so no loss of progress when you get out. I believe this is a single game developer, so a great first effort. Recommend for those who like mazes or simply like being challenged. So give it a go! I'm really surprised there haven't been other reviews. 7.5/10
