Played Solo on Easy difficulty and tried Horde mode a few times.
Yet to try online with others.
Enjoyed the game so far without any complaints as I used a PS5 controller wired without any technical issues.
Four types of Characters with their own skills, health and attacks. You slot in "Meteorite" perks to your character which give you luck, attack, health, crit chance etc and you can even level them up, also different types of builds for each character which is pretty cool.
Since you can switch between the 3 character if you are playing solo, I have tried a burning build with one, a lightning with another, frost with the Archer and a luck build so I can try to get the legendary Meteorites.
There are only Six campaign levels and the horde mode. So the question I have now is the longevity of the game because with similar type of games, it tends to get boring sooner rather than later but for the price, I believe the content is worth it since I have enjoyed my time so far.
Story is alright and the few animated cut scenes are awesome!! So I am happy to support the devs by paying $20 for the game :)

disappointingly bad.
Dont get this thinking anyone is playing online, not been able to find anyone in matchmaking, if you're lookimng for co-op be sure to have a premade group or you can play couch coop.
Game itself both looks and feels clunky.
The game aesthetics are really badly designed, its very difficult to tell background from players and enemies. Despite running at 500+ fps the scrolling and animation feels stuttery and seizure inducing as it chugs along.
Combat is likewise sluggish and unrewarding, everything just feels floaty and "off" there is no weight behind the strikes and you never feel connected to the action. Pretty sure there has been zero playtesting with this title.
Outside of the presentation its simply awful

Controller doesn't always work for menus.
When you join your friend's game, you can't use your controller, only your keyboard.
When you use charged skills, you are forced to aim with the mouse, and all movement buttons are going in the same direction.
Music randomly stops playing.
There is a tank, a healer and two DPS. But the game is sold as a 1-3 player game. It's impossible to play that solo, really.
I saw all these problems in just 30 minutes.

Played with two friends in local co-op and we had a blast. Very polished fast paced-combat. The only negative is that the story is quite short.

Passion project of a game and it shows! While the art is great, the non repetetive content lasts you about 4 hours.

Go Fight Fantastic is a hack'n'slash game aimed at 1-3 players. We take on the role of interstellar smugglers who, while on a bird planet, are eyewitnesses to an invasion. By chance, they are drawn into the fight against the invaders.
The story doesn't sound complicated, and that's what it actually is. We get a short story campaign, which can be completed in 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on the pace of the transition.
Gameplay focuses on forming a team consisting of 3 characters that are different from each other. By selecting them, the player can already choose at this stage how he will play out a given skirmish.
Go Fight Fantastic is dynamic yet highly engaging. The player's task is to clear the board of enemies and then move on to the next parts of the level, and so to the final fight with the Boss.
The graphics here are very pleasant, cartoonish - at times resembling those of anime. Nevertheless, I was most impressed by the "movie" interludes, which really got the job done during the most important stages of the game.

Short and sweet little game,s Worth a try.
However note it feels like everything was balanced for the co-op mode which makes medium and above difficulty basically unplayable alone as enemies become damage sponges and there is so many of them its easy to get stun locked until your entire team is down.
Story wise nothing to impressive but not terrible, though it does feel like there was 1 or more games prior that would have given context to lots of thing mentioned but never elaborated.

Stunning visuals, great story and really nice mechanics!
Steam Deck works great on this one.
You can choose a team from 4 available characters and every one of them has it's own unique abilities. Gameplay feels smooth and really nicely made. The characters abilities complement each other.
I didn't have any problems with online and co-op mode.

Go Fight Fantastic is such a cool game blending a refreshing hand drawn art style and pretty challenging combat. Visually everything about the game feels really polished and satisfying. The soundtrack is really good too, I never get tired of the battle music.
My favorite part of the game is how unique each level feels, with new hazards, enemy types and a brand new environment. Even though the main playthrough is on the shorter side (especially if you figure out the ultimate combo setup and good powerups), it's really fun to replay, and re-visit the same levels on harder difficulties, to appreciate the art style all over again (and learn that your previous strategies weren't enough).
The story is quirky and goofy, which is really fitting for the overall vibe. Ultimately it's not a game about the story, but about hacking through waves of enemies and looking cool. And it's fun to do so with friends too. I primarily played solo and couch co-op a bit. The shorter 15-20 min levels are really nice for a couch co-op session on the casual side.
Overall I recommend the game, I really enjoyed it as a chill hack'n'slash!
