It's fun to play and all but really hope that the multiplayer will be supported on the next patch. Can't wait to play with friends. Plus, can make it cursor enabled game? It's hard to sort items, navigate settings, and such just by using common controller keys. Overall, it's a great game and really hope to play again on full release of the game. P/S: make it 8 maximum players for multiplayer for content creator to mess around with their friends.

For now:- Pros Cute pretty fun Controller works Cons Dropping items can't combine or group the amount to drop. Also items don't stack if you collect separately. ( at least not from my game ) (Eg: if I collected 10 fire herbs in my bag, and then collect rocks.... the next day, I collect some more fire herbs ( even thou I can manually stack them by dropping then and then pick them back up), it will be in another slot. For now, the game is super short for $15 EA. Unless you want to support and help them along the way, I would say wait till it leave EA. For me the game is fun so I would recommend, but whether you don't mind short EA or wait for full release, it's up to individual.

PROS =============== Aesthetic survival game Some Suprises Good Music Good Story Good Animations Good Character Customization CONS =============== Easiest survival game I have ever play. Everything was told and guide. You don't need to craft or cook because you can horde glow bug as resource, you can outrun your enemy, the night isn't dark enough, most of the quest are "go and fetch". The only problem is the bug, but once it's gonna fix, the game became stale. CONCLUSION If you like being part of the development and give feedback, buy it. If you expect a full price triple A game with thousands DLCs sort of thing. go somewhere else.

So far, playing this with kbd/mouse is bad, really bad. The controls work sometimes, or simply quit working in the middle of an action. The mouse cursor dies frequently when you open crafting or inventory windows, and you have to fiddle with it to get control back for the mouse. I will have to dig out my xbox controller, to see if the game works better. I will update this review with the results. So far, not recommended. :(

The game has a lot of potential and reflects, I think, a lot of great work on the devs' parts, BUT I cannot get past these controls. In its current state (23 May 2020), this game is really, painfully clunky. I've rarely encountered such cumbersome controls, and the UI is similarly difficult. I think the core issue for me is the fact that you can't use the mouse (on PC obviously) in the menus. This inevitably makesUIs more difficult to navigate and I don't understand the reasoning for it at all. Also the way you navigate your quickbar(s) is just weird (1 to go left and 2 to go right for your left hand, 3 to go left and 4 to go right for your right hand -- It's just very unnatural). It's reached a point where I can't seem to even use the weapons and tools in my quickbar for I-don't-know-what-reason. And un- and re-equipping itesm in the quickbars is not at all "quick" to understand to do, again because of the no-mouse issue). Eating and drinking seems to be all there's time to do because your hunger/thirst decrease SOOOO quickly you have time for nothing else. The camera also is awkward and gets stuck in places it shouldn't and I'm not crazy about the fact that I can't adjust it vertically and can only spin around the character. I know this is early access, so I'm hoping I can come back to this (after returning it for my money back at this point) and see some serious improvements to the controls and UI, because right now they're kinda game-breaking, and this game looks like it would be really, REALLY cute and fun and intriguing with better controls. I really like the idea, and like I said, I think there's definitely great potential, but there's also a great deal of room for very needed improvements right now. Updated October 2021: If you don't mind using a controller, this is certainly playable with one. I vastly prefer keyboard and mouse myself, but c'est la vie. It's a very cute game, and ultimately I think it's worth the pricetag.

omey tp dok sonok agt Suggestions - Get rid of the shadowy NPC as it breaks immersion. Use 2d npc sprite that pop on the side of the screen as tutorial with dialogue. - Or spawn the npc near you when he is needed like Valheim - Maybe able to craft mailbox to receive the rewards - Character should auto rotate towards a resource when we interact with it like chopping etc. - Use softer sound effects overall - Allow us to hold button to interact instead of spamming. Because swing time being unknown makes it feels clunky and spammy. - Sell music like RE:legend as content for the game. - Make object transparent between player and the camera. disable clipped camera - I would use 1 action bar only and utilize mousewheel to change tools. Currently we having to keep track 2 action bars make the game feels a bit clunky. - The game needs a lot of polishing

At the moment this game is quite fun to play - even though at times it can get quite baffling - some parts are not told in a tutorial so sometimes you'd stumble upon methods by mistake. But the learning curve is still okay and it's not too difficult. As it is an Early Access, there's of course the usual bugs BUT it does not detract from the fact that there's a damn good game underneath all of it. So far this game ends once you have reached the Bugi (frog dude) character and fixed the boat. But the gameplay showed that there is more to do. The small bits ToGather Island offers are interesting enough: from the inventory I know that there's options to create and customize your own home but at this stage you're restricted to making some fires and mattresses. Which makes me want the finished game even more because I wanted to see all the things hinted in the inventory. The art-style is cute and the environment lovely to look at and ToGather Island shows great promise and I for one cannot wait for the polished final product.

This is a survival game which requires a lot of patience. The game is made to take your survival thinking to the next level. The controls can be improved as well as the tutorial phase. It takes quite some time to adapt to the game as one can mistakenly craft something or collect things they don't need. The graphics, sounds, are good but it is really dark during night time and at early game, player has little to nothing to prepare for it and end up wasting some time for the sun to rise. The game should also be more mouse friendly for navigating (i.e scroll/select/drag drop) as most action buttons are using keyboard. The game has so much potential and I am looking forward for the full release once it is available.
