I really enjoy playing this game. What I like the most about it is the fact you can play it with a controller and it is rather intuitive to use. I am a long time pocket billiards enthusiast, and in the late 90's I actually owned a billiard hall for several years. Brunswick tables in my opinion are the best tables made, and I find that this game does them justice as well. Currently as of writing this there is not a ton of online players but still there is plenty to do in the game like getting Brunswick bucks toward other in-game purchases. Personally I am very impressed!

The controls for this game suck. No fine tune for the mouse. Garbage.

VERY AUTHENTIC, GREAT GRAPHICS, I WOULD LIKE TO TO KNOW A FEW THINGS ON THE GAME LIKE HOW MANY "SOHO POINTS" CAN YOU ACQUIRE, HOW TO FIND MORE ONLINE GAMES. OVER ALL I THINK IT IS A GREAT GAME.

Apparently no one plays on line. if you choose online nobody ever joins at the table. I really chose to practice any way, but there is a caveat there. if you let the computer get control of the table it will finesse every shot until there are no choices and then it will shoot a pass. of course now all the balls not yours are gone so it's pretty easy to clear the table :-( Update: I found something more to my liking, Challenge 9 ball Solitare. Your not playing against the computer. I started out in practice mode 8 ball and it was like playing against a grand master or whatever, i had it run the table on break and never even got a practice shot!

After reading the reviews, I had my doubts about this game but bought it anyway almost a month ago. Now, I don’t see what’s not to love about this game. A lot of math goes into the physics of things like the proper bounce from a rail bumper or cue tip. It makes me realize how a simulation like this can improve your real life game. It also makes me realize, a developers livelihood often depends on the opinions of people who cannot take the time to give a fair and honest evaluation. Yes, you can make Brunswick dollars when you have none; without buying them. Just go to Soho and take some challenges. I soon found that you can improve your game greatly with a new and expensive cue stick just like in real life. I’ve already made the top of one leaderboard in this short time; and never bought Brunswick dollars. It makes me feel guilty to have bought this game for only $5 when I have paid way more to attend a rock concert for a only few hours. I mean, I love rock concerts but, I have received way more than $5 worth of enjoyment from this game; and much more enjoyment to come. I believe these developers deserve a fair shake. I use a windows x-box controller with this game. The controls seem intuitive without alterations. The reviews said nothing about applying English to your shots. If you’re curious like me; yes, of course, apply English. That’s also easy and intuitive. The great graphics and lighting only add more realism to this game. The setting of this venue includes an audience. Personally, I could never sit in an audience at a pool tournament with such anticipation and exuberance. They’re a good hearted crowd and empathetic toward your missed shots. I don’t need my ego stroked but subconsciously, it adds a little something to the game. One of the spectators wears a fedora. Only in real life would someone wear a fedora. Really, what’s not to love about this game? My compliments to the developers.

The game play if fine. However I have a problem with the coin system you can't buy any coins there fore you can't complete the challenges witch sucks. There fore it's not worth the time or effort.

The controls: not so good Perspective of the game is great but the controls need a lot of improvement. I'm not a fan of the drag and push to hit the ball - and also the spin controls are not good too

The actual physics of this game seem really good, but there are a number of bugs and annoyances that makes this game a regrettable purchase for me. Perhaps I was wrong to assume that having the name Brunswick on it would mean it was high quality? Unless they patch a bunch of things I won't be playing this very much.

Pay to win garbage. $291 to get the cue with best stats. You can actually gamble away the "Brunswick Bucks" you buy with real money. It is release day and I was only ever matched with AI. There are no lobbies. It just throws you into a match with AI after 90 seconds or so. Why is this not free to play??
