I do not mean to downvote but it should be mixed if I could put it there, controls seem alright but there are some annoying stuff with the way the controls work, with the scale of the play space for each mission, the way the same control works for near and far, what this has meant was that for some missions it can get annoying because for me I was trying to do many things, like merge the ships to a battlegroup but instead of merging they would get command to travel across the map, likewise with targeting enemies or even just navigation in the battlezone. One example was I was trying to get my ship to turn left, but it pointed to going across the map and rammed the enemy and I lost my flagship because of that, another thing is due to the nature of said control issue, it becomes extremely frustrating later on, especially with fighter squadrons attacking you as they can wipe out your flagship, so you should prioritise targeting them, but the nature of them moving around a lot plus the controls not always targeting the enemy and instead giving the move command results in frustration of constantly doing the same action until the game decides to target the enemy.
