I didn't initially expect to write a review for this, but here goes:
I purchased The Wild Case on sale, solely for the left and right hand pointing emoticons in the Steam points shop. I then remembered that to use them, I'd have to play the game for two hours. Not only did I play it, I 100%'d it, and enjoyed my time doing so.
The dialogue and interactions are pretty camp, and it seems to have been translated rather poorly in some spots. The odd translation only serves to increase its camp factor, though, and I found myself looking forward to talking to each person and uncovering the (admittedly silly) plot.
Lovely artwork and art direction, fairly simple puzzles, the plot is interesting enough to keep you going for the full two hours, UI is as clean as it needs to be. Because I was easily able to 100% the game in 2.1 hours, I can't say It's worth CAD$9.99. As I said, however, I got it on sale. At CAD$2.99, I'd say it is worth it if this is your kind of thing.
Oh, hilariously, the in-game Controls screen is purely for Nintendo Switch joycons.

The only cool thing about this game is the art. A vaguely Soviet village drawn with remarkably accurate details.
The rest is not great. As a puzzle game it's not good: it's a FedEx game. You just fetch things for people and exchange for stuff you need from different people. Even the few times where you need to solve something using a code, it's solved for you automatically, you don't actually get to do the fun part. Nothing is difficult, and the game is quite linear.
The story itself is also more promising than it ends up being.

Very simple game i found the art style was nice. no hard puzzles but on some cases i had to use my peanut brain to put 2 and 3 together.
Get it on special this game's not worth 10$ IMO but was rather worth it for the 3.50$ CA i paid. Took 2.5 hours to beat it.
