The game is simple in the nature of the room escape genre but lacks the standard puzzles that go along with this type of game. It is just one long dark maze with no immediately coherent form of navigation. Scary in the way that it is not a typical monster coming for you. Instead it is a russian dad bod with red eyes bolting at you. weird but original in the "monster" design.

The Gas Gas Gas achievement is broken and never unlocks. Otherwise, it's a state-of-the-art game with PS1-esque graphics and immersive gameplay. 3/10.

Meh. It's pretty basic. Not worth your time or money.
As the burly man explains in fractured English at the start., you have two means of completing it, either out by car or by foot (the car achievement seems to be bugged however as I complete the game but it never triggered for me). And you're doing this to escape your dad. Why he needs escaping from is less clear, and why the developer thinks we should be scared of him, is also unclear. Getting caught forces you to start from the start, but with only a few runs it becomes clear what the optimal strategy and route is.
Both approaches seem to be largely accomplished the same way. Run around rows samey looking storage garages, break into locks using your lockpick, occasionally hiding in a toilet when "father" comes nearby (and this guy has a mean speed-walk on him I tell ya), or throwing a brick/bottle to temporarily stop him in his tracks. You collect the various needed items and escape via your chosen means. And that's it. Graphics, though lo-fi, don't evoke the sense of dread these retro-style games aim for. The sound (apart from your father's footsteps), is practically nonexistent. It's just not an engaging whole.
The developer shouldn't have bothered giving us choice of approach and instead focused on making a single escape method more interesting.
Avoid.
