I'm glad I bought this on sale honestly. Kept it downloaded this whole time to not realize it had only like 5 minutes of content for me left.

you start the game in a nightmarish dreamscape the third task is shoot the moon but the game never makes it clear thats what you have to do since its showing interact so oi spent the better half an hour trying to figure that out how to interact with the moon
other than movement the controls only work half the time whether its interacting shooting or using an ability and the discription is only partially true, i was expecting to be on the run from extremist debt collecters but it leans more to supernatural and secret society's
understand that this review was done while in early access this game needs more than a bit of spit and polish

There's potential, but the game has not been updated since February 2020 so I can't honestly recomend it right now. To summarize, this game is a demo that costs money, hope it doesn't get abandoned, because I find it to be different from a lot of games I've played/seen; not like Dark Souls is with first thing that comes to mind looking at it.

Okay! Game 10/10!!! Why?! It's like Silent hill - when you get there - you get absolutely nothing! Everything is a different world! Went to work, some fires happened, woke up, went to work, after work went to some cultists' bunker, killed everyone (probably shouldn't have, right?) Then had a serious trip, had an encounter with some shady nun and in the darkness heard 'You should not be here' and the game closed...just 10/10!!!

Honestly, I wish this game gets completed one day
Money Loves Silence is such a weird game. The gameplay elements are very interesting and I actually really like the story. The game looks pretty good and stuff like the voice acting or the pacing is solid. Now, I would find the gameplay very enjoyable if it actually works. The grappling hook doesn't work some of the time despite it being one of the coolest items in the game and shooting and running feels very sluggish. And this itself makes the game harder than it should be, I'm glad the AI isn't that cunning or else fighting is a losing game. If only these gameplay problems get fixed, this game is an actual hidden gem. It saddens me that after three years Money Loves Silence is still in early access, which either means the developer lost interests or he is still working on the game, which I hope because as I said before, the story and gameplay elements are very neat. I'm also really digging that games cover. Its eyecatching and pretty awesome in my opinion.
I wonder if we ever get a full release, judging by the mixed reviews I kinda doubt it, but I have faith in this game. Just fix the sluggish gameplay and you're ready to go.

Was not really expecting this game out of no where but it really packs a punch. Interesting story line, interesting concepts and a lot of attention to detail. I am surprised not a lot of english reviews let alone just this one because this game is really nice. I personally really like the graphics and the ideas the developer came up with, it's a little lacking in direction but if you're smart you can figure it out. Big thumbs up!

This game is in a way, a work of art.
Even though in the most basic sense, by look and feel, it should be a bad game, it's definitely not one.
It's not a great game either, but much better than I ever expect it to be.
The story is interesting, captivating and its the thing that ultimately lead me to completing the game (or as much as there is out right now) three times, just to check every possible choice and possibility and each time I found a new part of the story, that pieced into the bigger picture and gave me a more clear view of what is going on. There's a ton of overlapping plot lines that lead to confusion and oversaturation, but I still can't wait to see what happens in the future.
The gameplay is similar to story in a way that there's a lot of everything. Shooting, horror, simulation, text based adventure, platforming, dodging, resource management, weight management. There's a lot of things, but all of them come with their own little flaws that end up making the game very frustrating.
My biggest complaint of the game is the movement.
It's slow and sluggish. Your walking speed is a crawl, which fits well with the horror sections, but not the shooting sections. The sprint uses a stamina bar, which ends up being frustrating in long walking sections with nothing else to do. It's definitely not suited for platforming AT ALL (the grappling hook helps out with it tho).
The second issue that's not as big is weapons and shooting.
The reason why this isn't as big of an issue, is because the revolver is amazing. It has a unique name that enemies recognize in your hands and call out during fights, which adds a lot of intrigue on the origins of it and feeling like you're wielding something from legendary tales. The animations are incredible, the reload especially. And the coin flip skills is one of the coolest things I've seen in any game. You flip a coin and slow down time, which then you can shoot in mid-air and ricochet the bullet to enemies behind cover. This is unique, innovative and fun to play with.
What isn't nowhere near as cool is the second gun you get in the game, the assault rifle. The recoil is absolutely horrendous, it feels unrealistic when its just shifting to the upper right corner. The red dot is too big and blinding. And there's little to no use for it because of the damage model in this game. The enemies are complete bullet sponges that can soak up entire magazines, but one shot to the head will kill them. Because it's easier to aim with revolver, there's no point in picking up the AR at all, except if you run out for Revolver ammo, which hasn't happened to me at all. This also makes the second revolver unique skill almost useless. The skill is simply to hammer the revolver to shoot the whole drum in quick succession. The bullet spread basically makes sure you won't ever land a headshot with it, it's a waste of ammo and most likely, won't even kill a single enemy with that.
These kind of issues make the game much more frustrating than it could be, but in the end, this is a good game. It has character and charm. Definitely a game I will look forward to seeing being updated.

That's a scam, no update since february and there is barely 1 hour of content if you know where to go and what to do.
They also don't tell you at all on the page that it isn't even finished, the first chapter isn't even completed.
Do not buy it.
