It's a pretty fun puzzle game that looks like a mobile game, which I found out is actually the case. Even so, I'm sure it plays and controls much better on my computer system. Fun graphics, peppy music, and challenging puzzles made it a nice afternoon romp. There was one ambiguous puzzle which I looked up on a walkthrough .... ahhhh, even with half of the answer, I still would've missed the solution. And the achievements are broken. Bummer, but I still recommend it, especially for the sale price.

A really awesome narrative puzzle game set on a planet that your character is exploring. With simple, methodical mechanics you make your way through something of an archaeological dig to discover exactly why this planet is no longer inhabited. The puzzles are inventive and interesting, mainly having to do with the transference of energy through crystals. An excellent buy!

Cool little point and click. Really liked the aesthetics and themes, most puzzles were enjoyable and intuitive, except for one. Really short but really cheap too. Feels almost as a proof of concept. Hope the sequel expands and improves on it.

Krystopia is a game with some passable albeit sometimes quite fiddly puzzles, that unfortunately seems to have gotten released in an incomplete state. The storytelling is quite a mess. It's hopelessly vague where it matters, and ends in a cliffhanger that resolves nothing. There's a strong sense that this 4-chapter game should have a concluding chapter 5; it feels incomplete. There's also an unfortunate mismatch between the voice-acting, the dialogue, and the character art (especially in the comic-style cutscenes). In her art, the protagonist looks like a lonely but experienced adventurer, whereas her voice-acting is upbeat and playful. Overall, while this game had some solid ideas, I don't want to recommend an unfinished experience.

A slightly taxing puzzle for experienced puzzle game lovers. pretty to look at and a good narrative. A few nights entertainment for a small cost.

Started somewhat strong, but both the story and the gameplay kind of fell into incoherence by the end. A lot of the puzzles were made more difficult by fiddly UI bits.

Casual puzzler with story elements. This is actually a rather pleasant little game. It matches pipe-based puzzles with a narrative that happen to be both set in the same world, but otherwise don't have much in common -- a tradition started by Myst. This game, however, is smaller than Myst, and less immersive because its "worlds" are more disjointed; still, it's more pleasant to play than if the 50 or so puzzles were just that. Some puzzles do involve the environment, so there's that; but functionally, you don't need the articfacts or the messages that you can find. I liked the puzzles; I liked the world; I liked the voiceover cutscenes and item narration. It's too easy and too small in scope for hardcore puzzlers, but if you'd like to spend a little time on a foreign planet casually solving puzzles and playing with foreign tech, then this game is fine. [i]P.S.: The achievements don't work at all.[i]

Very short, very soothing, very stylish. An enjoyable puzzle game enhanced by intriguing world building, a pleasant narration and a gorgeous setting. It can be completed in one sitting but you'll have fun every second of it.

Very short puzzle games which finishes in a cliffhanger. I have no idea why some controls are so hard, at the end you have to move some stones with letters and it's literally the most complicated task ever as the stones need wide gestures (as in 3 times the height of the screen) to finally turn. That's clearly an error of design. Two achievements are bugged, so you need to reset the game and play again until those two are unlocked. It's another issue that hasn't been corrected apparently. Besides that, this game will occupy you around an hour, so buy it in a bundle.

Krystopia is a nice, short puzzle adventure with an immersive story and relaxing soundtrack. Puzzles mostly involve directing rays to an end point with an assortment of mirrors, sliders, switches that need to be charged by a ray, and "batteries" that can buffer a small amount of energy and release it later. They start very easy in the first chapter, get increasingly more complex towards the end, but remain fair and manageable with a modicum of logical thinking. You'll also need to inspect the environments closely from different camera angles to find hidden items or collectibles. Controls are sometimes a bit clunky. Puzzle elements often need to be rotated precisely by dragging the mouse, and they may move too slowly, too fast, or in a different direction than you would expect. I was also stuck for 30 minutes on a puzzle of rotating cubes because the game would not accept my combination - apparently, even though the cubes showed the correct symbols in the correct order, they needed to "snap" into a specific angle for the combination to register. None of that caused any major problems though. The story starts out pretty interesting - you play a scavenger in a sci-fi setting, who lands on an abandoned planet, searches the ruins, and is intrigued by the mysteries she discovers. The writing and occasional voice-overs gave the protagonist a cheeky personality, which I liked. The story does have a few plotholes - e.g. the natives of the planet conveniently leave each other message pads in plain English -, but the plot remained interesting throughout the game. Unfortunately it kind of collapses in the last chapter. The ending is very abrupt, leaves most questions open, and isn't very satisfying either. The game uses stylized, low-poly graphics similar to Firewatch, but manages to look pretty good in my opinion. Note that your character is not actually moving around visibly - rather, each "room" behaves like an object that you can tilt and turn, with hot spots for zooming in. I thoroughly enjoyed the game for the 4 hours that it took me to complete it. There is no replay value (as usual for this genre), but the cheap price is more than adequate for the user experience it provides. If you are a fan of puzzle games with a story, I'd definitely recommend to give it a shot.
