Garden City is a free mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as a cash grab from mobile devs. It's a tablet ported clicker game/ripoff of the 12 Labours of Hercules series, only worse. The shady developer behind this valueless shovelware has proven to be a persistent nuisance abusing Steam... they've dumped over a hundred valueless mobile app tier asset flips onto Steam, many featuring plagiarised/stolen stock art and other unethical, shady behaviours. The developer, Creobit/8Floor, has copy + pasted this particular game, with minor reskins, an insane THIRTY TWO TIMES onto Steam with minor reskins... why cash in on one asset if you can cash in on multiple copies of the same game? This valueless copy + paste garbage is taking up marketing space for genuine indie developers who are doing the right thing. It's harmful to the industry and to gamers. Much like 12 Labours of Hercules, there's no gameplay, just click on different things on the map until the level completes. At least with 12 Labours they managed to get the game to work in fullscreen. This game works on a cell-phone 9:16 aspect ratio, but they thought this would be okay to launch on Steam. The big joke is they want $5 for this, but it's free on mobile, which should tell you just how bad these developers are for this sheer, unacceptable insult to PC gamers. Who do they think we are?

Always enjoyed the relaxing nature of this style of game. Nice to see a few new additions around. Each level has a great flow so far.

DO NOT BUY THIS Even if its on special Especially if you loved Gardenscapes If you love annoying time wasting games where you have to replay levels multiple times, annoying pointless wait times and no fun at all with the added benefit of annoying WEE HOO noises then maybe you should buy it... no not even then.

I have several issues with this game: 1. timed only; no relaxed mode 2. mousing over buildings shows resources needed but not what is missing; have to click to see missing items 3. too easy to get stuck and have to restart level; have to be psychic and read dev's mind to figure out where to go and what to build OR really enjoy replaying levels over and over. As for #3, I probably restarted at least a half dozen times and only reached level 12. When I again failed because of dev's idea of what to build when, I quit. Not interested in pursuing further. There are many other time management games on Steam that are more fun than this one!
