I grew up with the Titeuf books and the Playstation 2 version of this game because this is in fact a remake of Titeuf : Méga-Compet'.
At least the game considers itself a remake, no content has been added and the graphics have been altered in an impressively negative fashion. To add insult to injury some cutscenes have just been entirely removed (short cutscenes that would happen after you win a minigame).
A lot of bugs are present, many animations are either broken or missing and again the new graphics somehow look worse than the ones of the PS2 game this one is based on (The PS2 release had graphics that were far more accurate to the books).
I initially thought that my nostalgia for the source material could provide an easy recommendation of this game for established fans of the franchise but it is simply not the case since this is probably one of the laziest and most shameful video games I have experienced.
I got the product for 80 % off yet still feel like I paid too much for it.
