Fun, but dead, If the devs lowered the price significantly it'd probably be more popular but if you want to enjoy it best have a few friends to play it with.

TL;DR DO NOT BUY THIS GAME UNLESS YOU UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS NOW SINGLEPLAYER-ONLY AND FURTHER DEVELOPMENT HAS CEASED. This game should only cost $5 at MOST. Leaving it up on the store at full price with an inaccurate depiction and description is not only greedy, I imagine it might break some sort of TOS to misrepresent your game for sales.

Storytime(aka, the Long Version)::
Once upon a time, Dash Dash World was THE best VR Kart Racer. Interesting tracks with diverse designs, multiplayer support-- it was like a dream come true for anyone who loved the genre!
Then, after a few years, the updates stopped. We had a "Coming Soon!" entry on the maplist that never came. The devs/community managers stopped responding to players. Sales would come and go with no discounts applied to attract new players to the community. The experience plateaued and then became stagnant.
More years went by and, out of nowhere, on April 25th, it was announced that they were officially sunsetting the game's support and development-- within one week. On May 2nd, they would release two new tracks(tbh, they're variations on each other, not diverse like their previous maps), and they would also be shutting down the multiplayer servers.
That's correct. A Kart Racing game-- a genre built on the rush of racing AGAINST YOUR FRIENDS-- had decided to shut down the multiplayer servers. No options to host your own servers, no options to set up dedicated servers, no options to rent servers and only one week's notice.
Honestly, the only time most people would play Mario Kart alone was so they could learn the track and do better AGAINST THEIR FRIENDS next time they raced. The studio, by way of apology, made all previously-exclusive cosmetics now attainable from the in-game store, so you could grind solo matches against bots for-- what? Cosmetics that NOBODY can see? But, don't worry-- they also assured us that they'd leave the game on all the stores so people could still pay to play.
And they have! However, no discounts to reflect the ending of support and the loss of a CORE feature like Multiplayer. In fact, to-date, a FULL 4 WEEKS after their update, this and their meta store pages still list among their features:: "Race up to 8 friends" and "Cloud save" and "Cross-platform play" and "Regular online tournaments". Tournaments haven't been a thing for YEARS, yet it's a feature they use to sell their product.
If they wanted to end with some better vibes from the community, they could've kept their servers alive for at least a week or two after the update so we could play the new maps WITH OUR FRIENDS. Have a crazy week of grinding the previously-exclusive cosmetics with your friends so you can enjoy it all before everything shuts down. Give the game a proper send-off!
But, they didn't do that. They didn't spend the last two, silent years, working on adjusting their Multiplayer code to accommodate peer2peer connections or player-hosted-servers.
I'm happy for my nearly-30-hours in this game because I had a lot of fun with my friends. However, seeing such shoddy support and disrespect for their customers kinda kills the vibe for any good memories.
