im sorry but its kinda boring, its just building your village, was expecting like kcd2 witcher and assasins creed typa stuff like in combat (witcher and kcd2) stealth and mechanics (kcd2) and parkour/movement (assasins creed), if ill be honest kcd1 is better then this and its 7 years appart and i mean in everything not just some stuff, like if ur into building villages (and smtimes having combat or stealth) then its ur game, tbh the games stealth kinda sucks, first 1hr of gameplay and it was boring af, as for me i dont recommend to ppl who want action and good stealth ps, its just basic rpg mmo bs, im just not into that shi
Gameplay and visuals - Average project.
Pros 1. Voice acting of dialogues Cons 1. Inconvenient UX 2. Not all actions are adapted for the gamepad 3. Very weak UI. Visually, objects are not readable at all and you have to look "in the inventory a stick or a skin or something else" 4. The camera in the dialogues is not conveniently set 5. Control with skidding while running - excessive 6. Shooting and hunting in general - very inconvenient

I've been playing it for some time and i am enjoying it so far, however, it is still early to make a conclusive review. GAMEPLAY It's like a mixture of various elements taken from other games, of which Skyrim, Assassin's Creed, and building games. They also added survival aspects. Those are easy to deal with, and more so give bonuses or maluses depending whether you are satiated or hungry. DIFFICULTY I think i did roughly 20% of the game, so hard to tell how hard it can get, but it is becoming challenging for sure, it won't disappoint. And you can't save during combat, in fact you can't save manually unless you find a bed, so dying can be costly. SANDBOX You can build a village by adding pre-built assets, such as buildings, which are necessary to progress, and less important stuff for looks, such as roads, plants, fences, etc.. It's mostly alright, and you can manage the villagers to work in different places. The road building is terrible, however. Nothing snaps, so good luck with your OCD if you have that. Roads are hard to build perfectly and good luck making curves ( you can't ). Furthermore, while walking on the roads, your character will "dip" inside the ground between each asset of the road ( imagine the road made out of square or rectangle assets ). Lastly, if you place the road on tall grass, the tall grass disappears only to reappear after some time, permanently. NPCS They LOVE talking, a LOT! omg Voice acting is pretty good tho, mostly. ANIMALS They FORCE you to casually slaughter animals, which is disgusting behaviour, especially when not even necessary for survival. The game somehow gives 2010s vibes, which might deter some players, personally i like it. I am especially happy to have a game where i can be altruistic — although not to the animals...

Unique, interesting environment. No issues except the camera feels off. Probably something I could fix in settings. Musics good. Voice acting is good. Nothing ground breaking but the atmosphere is what I appreciate most. Its different and compelling.

Pretty good game, combat is a bit clunky but archery is good. Good quests and voice acting is good. There is a fair bit of content to keep you going. UI takes a bit to get used to. Good game from small devs so gets a thumbs up.

I like the game its fun engaging the only thing Id wish for was a way to be able to automatically send stuff to storage from workers or have their inventorys connected to the storage so you dont have to take items out so much and open miners, and your lumber mill if you need the product its producing

always interesting and something to do, the puzzles and quests get you thinking, not just ordinary run here and there to complete.

good game not too janky for controller users has in depth rpg system. building is less immersive is thats what your looking for its more of a city simulator style where they do the work for you rather than an ark style gather beast/helpers to automate your city. although they do have automation and a very large skill tree with multiple branches and trainers.

They almost had a gem of a game but somehow let it turn into a big disappointment. As many have said the UI, combat and A horrible Hit marker placement which makes mining laughable is just the tip of the flaws this game has. I looked beyond those flaws and got used to it for the sake of playing an RPG that has all the element I love like crafting base building etc.... What just plain out made me give up on this title was the lack of care for my time between squeezing inventory and so many puzzles or terrible parkour challenges (Awful movement and latching) to only be let down by they rewards. Maybe less puzzles and better payout should have been the idea here. Parkour to get a salmon and bread is just painful. There are many issues and also AI voice is just a turn off from the dialog as well. Too much going on here and it's really sad because this could have been really good.

I was intrigued by this game before it was fully released. Put off by the negative and mixed reviews, early complaints of the game play and the material harvesting, combat etc. However seeing Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves in the Theater back in 1991 , this game really caught my attention. After 6 straight hours of game play I have found this game to be enjoyable. The combat isn't an issue in my humble opinion, you can sword play or bow play or a combo of both. Early game I find bow play early on to be the best approach but based on some of the skills I've seen in the tree, it might become less of a dominant style in the later game. Material gathering is pretty standard for many games like this and it's not over burdening and too grindy. Prefab structures to be built but that's not an issue for me personally. UI is good in my opinion, I find no issues with it. I find the lore to be somewhat inline with what is known of Robin the Hood, Robyn Hood, Robert Loxely etc which is a strong drive in the game but it is not an origins game. It does take place at a time where Robin Hood is already a thorn in the side of the Sheriff and King. Also it takes place in Barndale . There is a bit of a reputation system that is to be had in order to weaken the enemy so it's not just straight building and material gathering. The skill tree is massive and I equate it similarly to FFXII. Similar not the same mind you. It's open world, non linear, you can play it the way you see fit. It's not without a few complaints. For starters I wish hitting the hot key again would put away whatever is hot keyed. I wish there was a more variety of enemies, thus far there isn't. Right now it's sword (long sword/short sword), sword and shield, or bowmen. I would love to see maybe spearmen, haldberds, crossbows troops, etc. AMENDING THIS: There are different varieties from spears to cudgel to ball and chain and morningstar. Still would like to see Crossbows. I would like to see a companion or two and maybe there is but early game at 6 hours in it hasn't been an option. Robin Hood was NOT a solo hero and had the companionship, brothers in arms in lore. I prefer companionship, 1-2 as the game progresses and gets harder. But that's my complaint, others might not care. That one is personal Auto Run/Walk. Why the hell is there not an option? Or horses (not fast travel). This game has a lot to be desired and it has things that should be in game to make it more immersive. ADDED: Animal hunting could be better in the sense it's too easy. I wish the animals would flee if they spot you, instead they run around in their sandbox area and respawn. Those are my chief complaints thus far but they are NOT game breaking or game ending and overall I'd rate the game 8 or 9 of 10. Perhaps expanding the villagers as it the community grows? Make it more personable? Send villagers to raid or ambush? Have patrols both Merry Men and Kings/Sheriffs troops? Personally if you're into run and gun 20-30 hour games and call it good, I don't feel this is the game for you. It seems the intent is to immerse yourself into the Robin Hood lore and build Robin Hood up as intended through the modern story telling. I don't write reviews often but I felt this one deserved one and it deserved a good overall review.
