I've played a lot of base-building/survival games and this one DEFINITELY surpasses them all!!

Sadly I cannot recommend this game. It is in its current state exremely clunky and unresponsive, and just in general pretty low quality (double A minus). The game startet out as a fun concept, but I quickly realized that I should just play Assassins Creed Shadows instead as it seems very similar, just way better quality. The game is awful in terms of saving and checkpoints. Time and time again I found myself losing up till an hour of time by dying as the game rarely saves, and saves at the weirdest times (and theres no manual save except sleeping). I completed two quests but the game never saves during this? Only when visiting signposts. The auto save just doesn't make sense. In the start I enjoyed the game and its progression. It has an interesting setting, somewhat decent controls and fighting mechanics and fairly good voice acting, but its just average and boring sadly. As the enemies get tougher the game just gets more annoying when buttons are unresponsive and things dont work flawlessly and becomes more clunky. In general it is just too average and boring, and to clunky and unresponsive. Do yourself a favor and go play AC Shadows instead.

Everything felt clunky and awkward, from movement, tutorials, to inventory and building. The game has potential to be decent I think, as it has good stuff, just implemented poorly. If you like this style game, you could consider buying it on a really good sale, but otherwise I definitely don't recommend.

This has a little bit of everything in it, which makes it a lot of fun! it is a do what you want type of game & tons of hour of play time. You can build your village, craft items, fight enemies, collect items you need, etc... If you know of Robin Hood then you will see characters like Little John, Fryer Tuck & Maid Marianne. If your a Robin Hood fan You will surely enjoy this game.

Best iteration of Robin Hood in a game with a 50-50 split on gameplay between arpg and light base and resources management, cozy and not too "sweaty" on normal setting as long as well prepped.

This game had a lot of potential. But it unfortunately falls short with it's buggy resource harvesting, dialogue that drags on, and repetitive combat. It's characters have personality, it's town building is simple and easy to understand, but it unfortunately wasn't able to bring everything together. I enjoyed it's combat in the beginning but after 26 hours, nothing new was added from the enemies I faced. It's pretty much the same types of enemies the entire time. Guy with bow, guy with big sword, guy with shield, guy who throws bottle for status effect that makes me sad. I wish I would have set the game down 15 hours ago, but it unfortunately took me a long time to realise I kept playing because I was searching for a reason like it. When overall, it's was a mediocre experience. This is not a bad game. But it's not a good game. It's just okay. I can only recommend Robinhood Sherwood Builders if it goes on sale for 10$ or under. (Canadian dollars lol)

This is the Robin Hood game I've been waiting for! Excellent gameplay, immersive story, and enchanting graphics.

McLovin the freedom of just roaming around. There is a lot of beautiful scenery to enjoy while on the constant lookout for certain materials, just like you would in a real survival situation. Other than keeping yourself fed and hydrated, there is no pressure to gather materials or perform tasks until the spirit moves you. No villagers to keep pacified, so no rioting over food or consumable demands. No constant ambushes to defend against and rebuild from. I've read complaints about bow targeting. I actually like it. I get it and I like it. Sword, not so much, but I'm pretty good with the bow. Only complaint: I wish it was MMO, at least in towns where you buy and sell stuff. It would be nice to chat with someone, and group with them for tasks (like in Guild Wars). Otherwise it's an excellent solo player game.
