First off, i would really like to recommend you this game... But sadly in this stage i can't... There is no real goal you're working for in this game. At the start you are told you need to build a thriving cybercity and build a mothership to colonize other planets and on the way don't run out on credits (the only ressource in this game). that's it, no tutorial, no Help and no explanation to any other game mechanics. First you buy a "colony" then you can place some other buildings and need to look for green and red pills?! above the surrounding buildings. Depending on if you have more green or red "pills" in the immeadiate area you get a number above the building you want to place that indicates if you make + or - credits. This goes on and on till you get to place a MOTHERSHIP HARBOR (i litteraly got to this point in 7 mins of playtime...). great, now it gets interesting, or so i thought at least... I clicked on it and nothing happend... I thought, maybe i need some buildings before i can build the mothership harbor (doesn't tell you at all if you need anything to build it). So for the rest of my playtime (20 mins) i built more and more other buildings and everytime i tried to built the mothership harbor nothing happened. After 27 mins of playtime i gave up because i couldn't place any new buildings anymore. I only focused on the gameplay in this review, there are much more problems with it than just the boring gameplay (e.g. there isn't even a quit or options button in the main menu) In this stage The game isn't even worth 5€, I'm sorry. I'm not gonna refund tho, because i still hope someday this game get's interesting and isn't just blatantly boring. PS: Whoever tried to make the german translation: Bitburger is disgusting...

As a city-building sim Voyagers is rather simplistic; people who want more in-depth gameplay should look to other games such as Surviving Mars. With that said, I think the easy-to-pick-up nature of this game is a refreshing take on the genre, forgoing complex mechanics and removing the need to play for hours before you can unlock the more interesting constructions. The stunning graphics and music lend themselves well to the atmosphere of an advanced colony in space, and the generated landscape is a touch barren but well in keeping with the aesthetic. If I could provide some constructive criticism, it would be nice to see a "free build" mode with unlimited resources added in the future, as well as the ability to save user-made worlds. The lack of a tutorial wasn't personally much of a hindrance but I can see how it could frustrate others. All in all, I believe Voyagers is well worth its price and while it may not satisfy the demands of more hardcore city-building sim players, it's great as an entry for new players to the genre or who do not have the time to invest into more complex games.
