It is promising game, and well jointed This game reminds me Orc must Die and it makes me happy I didn't expect there is twin light saber in this game It is already awesome at some points I think this game is underrated and going to filled with more contents in future Personally it wasn't waste of money even i played less than 2 hours Bow mechanics and sound quality was a bit clunky (Bow shoot angle should be changed with Hands angle) Trap wasn't that much effective for engaging hostile (Some of traps were effective but some of them wasn't, It might be my lack of knowledge with this game) With this price and experience isn't convertible

For 9.99 I'll recommend this game. It's like Dungeon Defends with a touch of rogue-like randomness. It's a great idea, but content is currently lacking to be worth more than $9.99. Due to the lack of content it does get a little repetitive. As such, I won't be playing again for awhile. I'd like to think that I'll check back in one day, months later, and find that content has been added. still, as it current exist, it's worth $9.99. There really aren't many, if any, other tower defense, rogue-like VR games out there.

I've had this for a while, and i really enjoy it. My only problem with this right now is that it hasn't been updated in a while. I mean... it's still christmas season in here since last year. And although I love me some christmas like anyone else, its rather tweaking me to a nervous twitch every time i play a game. Has this been abandoned? Or is there any more content being brought? Truethfully I'd just be happier without the christmas crap still on there. Can I get some knowledge on whats going on with this game? I'd really appreciate it if i can get some information, please? Lol i'd really like to play this without the need to strangle myself with my virtual hands over here. ;-p

There is so much to this, game very fun have had it for a long time. Probably abandoned now since there hasn't been an update in a long time but even in it's current state one of the best VR games I have played, really good execution on the concept.

its horrible. the weapons dont feel like to use and despite being on easy mode when you have to protect the princess the game sends an entire horde of enemies after you. in my four hours of playtime i have realised i should have never bought this game

The beta was lots and lots of fun This version I cannot reach 90fps even with the best hardware money can buy. There are staticy sound effects and some weapons are just useless

I was recommended by my friend.Although there are some problems in this game,but I still recommend it. Firstly, the weapons are fun! I love boomerang! It unexpectedly can be dual wieldind!!!! When I get "Throwing Plus"(up to Lv. 4), the boomerang gets so bigger! I thought it was fun, hahahahah~ Secondly, Rogue-like elements is not enough.I hope it could be random level or random enemies. Thirdly, The Pig Boss is too difficult!! I cant beat it if my ATK grade is not up to Lv. 3 at least. Finally, the Monster model can be seen in many other games... maybe the game isnt finished yet. By the way, I wish Multiplayer Mode will be coming soon! I cant wait play this game with my firends!

Orcs must die meets VR. Very good game, i think the Bow needs some work, LOS with spawn points, but great for the price, specially when it's on sale.

Axgend VR is a really nice game. I went into this game with minimal expectations, and was pleasantly surprised. It's charming art style reminds me of "For The King", while its gameplay is highly influenced by Orcs Must Die. Since I liked both of the games, I might be a little bit biased towards it. -------------- Gameplay -------------- The game is a rogue lite at its base with a premise that you level up and unlock bonuses for your characters as you level up. The current classes are Archer and Swordsman, with Mage on the way. They all have their unique bonuses with Archer focused on traps and Swordsman on weapons. Your task is to save the princess, who has been kidnapped by the orcs. It is a wave based game, and after every wave you will get to chose a reward from a randomised set. It can be a weapon, turret, trap, bonus, health, etc. Enemies will get harder and more numerous as you progress. There is quite a bit of variety with weapons and traps, which can be quite wacky! You can play with a light saber, or a rocket powered hammer that is twice your size. Traps include sumo wrestlers acting as decoy and pigs with dynamite sticks on their back. Basically.. its fun stuff. Best of all, the multiplayer mode is in the works. If you have any friends with a VR headset, it will be a blast when its finally implemented. ------------------- Technical Info ------------------- With my RTX 3080, Intel i9 9900k and Reverb G2, I can play it on SteamVR resolution of 5000x5000 pixels, which is about 6k resolution each eye. Even if you don't have the high end hardware, this game will run pretty well stutter free. While the game can be played seated, it would make for a very awkward experience when using the weapons, etc, so I would recommend a standing setup. To a new VR player like me, it caused minimal discomfort. I was able to play for about 3 hours in a session with a small break in between. So it should suit most people just fine. It has 3 different locomotion options including continuous, which allows you to walk just using the joystick keys. ------------- Thoughts ------------- I think the dev manages to make a charming game with limited resources. Its an indie game, and has the usual constraints. The execution however, is pretty impressive. I had a lot of fun in my 3 hours of gameplay so far, and I see myself going back to play more. What I do wish was that was a wiki somewhere. Unfortunately because its not a particularly popular game, you are left fending for yourself, trying to find out how things work. Most of the things are self explanatory, but it would be nice if the game told you, which traps stay forever, and which ones expire after a certain time, and which ones are single use only. I guess, its not the worst thing to find out for yourself, but there were times when I was wishing that some of these things were easier to find. Overall its a fantastic game, especially at this price. Its in early access, but its worth a buy even at its current state of development.

First of all, this game is one of my favorite VR games. I enjoy the rouge like mixed with tower defense styles, and the fireball staffs/aoe attacks are SOO fun (the fireball staffs mixed with the one constitution buff in knight build makes a VERY op combo especially on the final few levels in the spider area as I was litterally unable to die as I beat the game) overall 10/10 game imo
