Has potential, Needs a lot more work. The physics 2.0 is not what i expected. game feels clunky. I hate unreal engine. every game on that engine looks blurry and i hate that so much. This is my response to the devs, comments dont allow more than 1000 characters @jujulian I really love everything that you guys doing I really do. I played the beta/demo when it was released and I did not like it at that time, The game felt like a demo game which understandable, The game as it is now feels much better than the beta. the game now at least to me feels unresponsive it does not do what i want it to do, So i tried to change the setting a bit i tried simcade and arcade I didnt not notice a huge difference arcade feels a bit easier to drive. i tried 2 cars in the early game they all had the same issues, When try to enter a turn on high speed and drift using clutch kick or hand break the car does not slow much even though i dont feel like i was speeding that much, When i try to braak mid drift the car slows down more than it needs to be so the whole turn am drifting very slowly call it a skill issue but i tried my best to change a lot of things on the settings still this problem exists. I thought it was my controller so i tried an xbox controller and a PlayStation 5 one they all feel the same, the drift trails were fun because its easier to drift there u dont need to use clutch all u do is just handbrake, but when u free roam and pick up a bit of speed and try to drift in a corner the either understeers way too much or oversteer into the rail, I tried multiple speeds and multiple ways to enter a corner still same issue the car just slows down more than it should and the corner entry feels way too slow. Thats my opinion I dont consider myself to be an insane driver but i can see and understand that this game feels weird and needs adjustments. All in all I wish steam has a middle option for reviews because i dont wanna give this game a thumbs down. Indie dev u guys are the last and only people who can save this genre from greedy corps. I wish u best of luck.

I think the game is solid for the price and the small dev team. If this much passion was put into a game by a larger dev studio we'd have so many good games. Luckily we have this team to fill a void in the racing genre, and they do it so well.

Two months after release and YEARS after the prologue game and binding USB handbrakes is STILL not working properly, despite them always reassuring it's being worked on. Negative review until they fix USB handbrake binding. It cannot be THAT hard. EDIT: Now the game routinely screws up my input scheme. Every time I start the game, I have to rebind all my axis (gas, brake, steering, clutch, handbrake). THEN I have to hope that my handbrake randomly gets registered correctly (95% of the time it doesn't). This reeks of spaghetti code. How bad must their codebase be that basic basic basic stuff like this is screwed up so badly??? Also, the NSX's engine sound is laughably bad.

Game is still in Phase one. And it is fantastic! Company is very responsive if you find an issue. Graphics are great sound track is amazing! Logitech G29 works on it really well. There are a lot of ways to tweak it!

"It's just like one of my japanese animes" I wasn't sure if i should buy this with the current reviews saying that the driving is bad. one person saying "it's either oversteer, or understeer" But after having played it for a little bit: The driving is fine on controller with simulation settings, kinda reminds me of NFS Pro Street, especially with the way you can tune your car to your preffered driving style. The story so far is goofy anime style but i love that, the music choices are really nice so far too. It doesn't try to hide it's inspiration (mainly initial D and internet racing culture.) It's not a game for the hardcore sim lovers, as it will also not be a game for the hardcore arcade lovers (at least as far as i can tell). It hits a nice sweet spot in between where you gotta know what you're doing, but it's not like you need to have expert knowledge to play the game well. So for the people complaining: stop being a grump and just have some fun with this ^-^

I'm hoping this game gets some major bug fixes in the future as of now it's not worth the purchase. Drifting is sort of a side activity for most racing games and this is a critical flaw here. Drift chains make absolutely no sense, sometimes a drift ends early or continues on or increases when you're not even drifting. Driving in a straight line fast apparently increases my drift score, I never knew that was a drift, thanks game! Loading times are absolutely insane, this game REEKS of poor optimization. It shouldn't take 30 seconds for a race to load, then another minute or two to restart said race because the car decided it didn't feel like staying on tarmac today and wanted to turn sideways careening into an opposing car. Why are there exceptionally long loading times or pauses when doing basic things like trying to upgrade the car? I'm not kidding long pauses for each menu change, and half the time the game crashes. I could CONSISTENTLY make the game crash by selecting the menu option CAREER in game, you know the first button most people would click on in said game. I think it's because I hadn't started a NEW GAME yet therefore I didn't have a career, which if that's the case why is there a menu option for CAREER available when you first start the game? You disabled every other button in the main menu. This is a critical game breaking error, and anyone could trigger it. I did! I'm very good at triggering errors but usually it's not in the main menu. When you have GAME crashing bugs in the main menu you've really fucked up. It's a shame too I like the concept and the map is beautiful. The simple little manga comic panels are a fine addition too. Still the foundation of the game is a mess. An absolute MESS. Like vertical slice MESS, not game that's been out for months!

I was extremely hyped for this, but when I bought it I was kinda sad LET ME EXPLAIN (-/10) Graphics: 10 Story: 7 Music: 8 Game itself: 8 Ai traffic: 1 Driving (on steering wheel): 0 It is unplayable because you either wont steer at all or oversteer completely. Thats why I will return the game and maybe buy it again when they fixed it. Im pretty sad because I mowed the lawn of my neighbors 5 times to get the $35. Thanks to the steam support tho because they refunded the game within 1 hour 💝.
