I have downloaded eep14 eep15 and eep16 expert from thed steam website but how do I get the items(ie locos wasgpns ,buildings,bridges etc) that are in eep14 to work on eep15 and eep16 regards graham roberts

I wish I didn't have to say this, but... This is just for the real hardcore model train enthusiast. The 3D engine is old and ugly. It is cumbersome an inconvenient to use. Take LONG time to learn. And it is long and complicated to install everything. Good luck! :-)

Ok so i decided to get EEP 16 Expert to pass the time during lock down. IMPORTANT NOTE: First thing i will say from the start is to follow the tutorials, trust me they are worth it and you can build along side the videos, then you will realize how fluid and easy the system is. I also highly recommend joining the forum, where you will meet very friendly support who are more than willing to help and incl a English support section. yes the tutorials is out dated and are in the process of getting updated, but it is still enough to get you started. again make use of the forum. Even though EEP is based on German rail system there is a small selection of models and tracks to have a US themed layout. German signal systems are tricky to understand but there is plenty of information online. i still have a lot to learn but i am already comfortable setting up my own layouts with ease. Do i recommend EEP 16 Expert? the answer is yes. As for the price i can not comment as i have never used previous versions, personally i am happy with the price for simulation, there is a lot you can do with EEP that i am still to find out.

ENG: I definitely cannot recommend the game because the game is too difficult to learn and play. The game focuses on demanding construction and adjustment, as well as learning, rather than good playability and fun. It's like hardcore railway building a game. Most of the time goes into learning the basics of the game before you can get to and know how to play the game because it is difficult to build and the gameplay is even more miserable. Over the years, I've played other similar games or constructing games, this game is the worst, why? Because the game has poor controls and playability compared to similar games. Let's say, for example: Similar games where you get used to when an object or thing is selected. You can move an object or object from the center of the object wherever you want. In this game if you try to move a thing or object from the middle of that object or thing, the object will rotate. This is completely different to what a player is used to. Or it is said that a player who is used to moving in the game using the WASD keys and using the mouse to move the camera freely cannot play this game in this way. In this game, you move around the environment by using the mouse to move it around different corners of the game screen & rotate the camera using the arrow keys, which is awful. Controlling the game is like driving a car with a joystick controller or driving a motorcycle with a steering wheel or using a computer without a mouse. This works but, this gameplay is just as radically bad and terrible as it sounds. The game therefore has no advantage over other games because these advantage benefits are spoiled by bad solutions. Therefore, I cannot recommend the game because all the good in the game is spoiled by poor gameplay and camera control as well as difficult construction where all the simple things have to be done too complicated. PROS: + No DLC in the Steam store available (It's not dlc simulator, like any others is) + Game tutorial videos + You can drive the train + You can set camera into train dashboard view + You can create basicly endlessly different worlds and entities in the game. + There is actually lot of free wagons and trains in the game that cost nothing. CONS: - The gameplay is the worst in the world I've ever tried & played. (Movement system & camera is bad) - The game cannot be played without tutorial videos because the game is not so fun and easy that you could play the game without it. - Slow to learn & hard to master type of game - The game's slow learning curve (It is not easy or fast to learn how to play.) - Tutorial video parts are not viewable separately. - The game has paid content that takes you to another online store where you can buy additional content for the game. (I would not recommend the game second for this reason.) - If you are planning to try a game with the idea that you would still make a refund game, you will not succeed because you cannot play the game without watching tutorial videos, because it is difficult to play without it & it can easily take over 10 hours to learn the basics. - In order to build it or this, you have to do it and this. There are many things you need to do before you can build one thing. - In track building game not allowed to connect another track into one-click building - Combining train wagons is really difficult and this is really unclear when you want it to compound wagon into another wagon. The game does not tell if the wagons are connected or not because, there is none colored visual balls. - When uncoupling or combining wagons, you have to know at random that when you have to press the K or L key, the game does not tell you this. If you press the wrong button, you may have to remove the wrong wagon and you will have to work 2 times more to get it back. The game is not what I want at all. I want the game to be quick to learn and fun to play, this is not it so, that why i can't recommend this game! FIN: Minä en ehdottomasti voi suositella peliä koska peli on liian hankala opeteltava ja pelattava. Peli on keskittynyt vaativaan rakentamiseen ja säätämiseen sekä opetteluun, hyvän pelattavuuden ja hauskuuden sijasta. Tämä on hardcore rakentelu peli. Suurin osa ajasta menee pelin perusasioiden opetteluun ennen kuin pääset & osaat pelata peliä koska rakentaminen on vaikeaa & pelattavuus on vieläkin surkemapaa. Vuosien aikana mitä olen pelannut muita vastaavia pelejä tai rakentelu pelejä, tämä peli on kaikkein huonoin, miksi? Koska pelissä on surkea ohjattavuus ja pelattavuus vastaaviin peleihin verrattuna. Sanotaan esimerkiksi: Vastaavissa peleissä jossa tottuu että, kun esine tai asia on valittu. Sinä voit siirtää esinettä tai objectia esineen keskeltä minne haluat. Tässä pelissä näin ei tapahdu. Jos tässä pelissä yrittää siirtää asiaa tai esinettä tämän esineen tai asian keskeltä niin, esine pyörii. Tämä tapahtuu siis täysin toisin kuin pelaaja on tottunut. Tai sanotaan että, pelaaja joka on tottunut liikkumaan pelissä käyttämällä WASD näppäimiä & käyttää hiirtä kameran vapaaseen liikuttamiseen, ei voi pelata tätä peliä tällä tavalla. Tässä pelissä, ympäristössä liikuttaan käyttämällä hiirtä siirtämällä hiiri peliruudun eri kulmiin ja kääntämällä kameraa nuolinäppäimiä, mikä on ihan hirveää. Pelin ohjattavuus on kuin ajaisi autoa joystick ohjaimella tai jos ajaisi moottoripyörää ratilla tai käyttäisi tietokonetta ilman hiirtä. Tämä toimii mutta, tämä pelattavuus on yhtä radikaalisen huono ja hirveä miltä tämä kuulostaapi. Pelillä ei ole siis mitään etulyönti asemaa muihin peleihin verrattuna koska nämä etulyönti edut on pilattu huonoilla ratkaisuilla. Siksi minä en voi suositella peliä, koska kaikki se hyvä mikä pelissä on niin, on pilattu huonolla pelattavuudella ja kamera ohjauksella sekä vaikealla rakentamisella, jossa kaikki yksinkertaiset asiat pitää tehdä liian monimutkaisesti. PLUSSAT: + Ei DLC sisältöä saatavana Steam kaupassa. (Ei ole DLC simulaattori toisin kuin muut vastaavat pelit) + Pelin tutoriaali videot + Voit ajaa junalla itse + Voit siirtää kamera kuvakulman kuljettaja paikalle + Voit luoda & rakentaa periaateessa loputtomasti ison maailman. + Peliss on tarjolla paljon ilmaisia vaunuja ja junia. MIINUKSET: - Pelin pelattavuus on maailman surkein jota ikinä kokeillut & pelannut. (Ohjaus & kamera on huono) - Peliä ei voi pelata ilman tutoriaali videoita, koska peli ei ole niin hauska ja helppo että, peliä voisi pelata ilman tätä. - Pelin hidas oppimiskäyrä. (Ei ole hauskaa tai nopeata oppia pelaa.) - Hidasta opetella & vaikeata Master tyyppinen peli - Tutoriaali videoita ei voi katsoa erikseen - Pelissä on maksullista sisältöä kuten junia tai muita ajoneuvoja joita käyttääkseen ne on ostettava toiselta verkkokaupasta. (En suosittelisi peliä toiseksi tästä syystä.) - Mikäli sinulla on mielessäsi ajatus kokeilla peliä & vielä palautta peli steam refundista niin, se ei tule onnistumaan koska pelin perus asioiden opetteluun voi mennä helposti yli 10 tuntia. - Haluamalla rakentaa sitä tai tätä, sinun pitää tehdä sitä ja tätä. Montaa eri asiaa pitää tehdä ennen kuin voit saada rakennettua yhden asian. - Pelissä juna rataa rakentaessa kun ja jos haluaa yhdistää toisen radan toiseen niin, tämä ei onnistu yhdellä napsautuksella. - Juna vaunujen yhdistäminen on todella vaikeaa ja tämä on todella epäselvä pelissä jos ja kun haluat yhdistää 2 vaunua toisiinsa. Peli ei kerro onko vaunut yhdistetty vai ei ja eikä pelissä ole visuaalisia väripalloja, jotka kertoisivat sen. - Vaunuja irrotettaessa tai yhdistettäessä sinun on tiedettävä satunnaisesti se että, milloin sinun on painettava K tai L näppäintä, koska peli ei kerro tätä. Jos painat väärää painiketta, saata irrottaa väärän vaunun & sinun on tehtävä 2 x enemmän töitä saadakseen tämä takaisin. Peli ei ole ollenkaan sellainen kuin haluan. Haluan pelin olevan nopea oppia ja hauska pelata, tämä ei ole sitä & siksi en voi siis suositellä tätä peliä!
