It's okay, but I zoned out a few times.
The visuals are great and it has VA and also more CGs than I thought. There are two routes and a bunch of other endings to unlock... If ya feel like it.
I get the story and the lessons, however, it should've had something... More? I was mainly awake for the Action/BL parts and well... They were sweet (the BL parts that is...) -> But here comes another "but"... Why did Bastian get more priority over And-... I meant Terrance? As in... Bastian seems to have more "romance/niceness/sweetness" to him, rather than the other one? I thought I'd like Bastian's route more... And now I am not sure anymore.
And Karim seems like he smoked a bunch of grass and is now floating everywhere he goes.
>I guess if you really need a BL fix and will read just about anything with guys in it...? Also for Achievements...?<

Has a lot of potential but the end product is quite bland. The player should have been able to edit Ian's look or at least had the option to choose different variations of outfits. The story line is a very predictable read and it doesnt have a lot of depth or uniqueness. The minor characters are perfectly fitted for a certain stereotype by the devs. There's a bad guy mcbad and theres a jerk mcjerk and theres goodie two shoes. I wish there was more versitility, the game has a lot of potential but unfortunately the whole experience was a flat line for me.

True rating: neutral. I picked this up at a steep sale and had some fun playing, but can't bring myself to recommend it enthusiastically. The storytelling stays superficial, but it successfully entertains; I'd call this light entertainment.
As far as Visual Novels go, this one is a decent choice. It's well voiced, it's pretty to look at (it does not offer much in the way of background but the characters do make up for that), plus I do like a "robot gains sentience" storyline. The "villains" felt cartoonish to me, but it did fit with the overall light tone of the story.
It's a typical VN in that even if the choices at hand don't seem significant, they will impact which ending you get. I do wish the choices felt more impactful overall, since I find it unsatisfying that if you're not constantly nice and accommodating, you will not get the "best" path. The robot twink should be allowed to have an emotional reaction every now and then without that impacting the romance!
Also: it is cool that the player can choose between the sexually explicit version and the "we only imply sex" version, but it would imo be preferable if that was an option that could be toggled off and on in the menu, rather than having it be a (free) DLC.
