Newgrounds nostalgia hits just right. Short and sweet eerie mysteries that were definitely much, much more difficult when I was a kid.

If you're looking to replay the Deep Sleep Trilogy, this is a perfectly viable method of doing so. Only real gripes regarding it is the games themselves remain unaltered - thus technically anything here can be experienced in the originals. But hey, nothing wrong with that.

For a very old game, it still holds up not for its nostalgia but for its vibe, visual and most importantly the puzzle aspect. The eerie atmosphere will have your guard up sometimes. Personal gripe of mine is that the third game is not as tense as the first two but the end makes sense so I'll let it pass. Anyone who likes this should try the Dev's other trilogy and its fourth installment which is bigger than all these games combined. Looking forward to the final Deep Sleep whenever that releases.

Another classic **horror** flash game from the past, but this time it’s bundled together for a solid experience of the series. I remember playing this series' first entry on the local library's computer when I was younger. Unfortunately, I couldn't hear anything from the game because there wasn't any sound device on that computer. But this time, playing it with headphones and in a dim room, I could experience how the game was intended to be. It's three short horror games, each taking only 20–40ish minutes. It has basic pixel art and gameplay, but its atmosphere and sound design are surprisingly good. Not that eerie or scary, but it still makes the player feel immersed in the unknown situations the game presents. Gameplay is really basic—standard point-and-click. You click what you see on screen; if it's pickable, you'll pick it up. If it's interactable with what you’ve gathered, the main character makes a comment about it, and so on. Nothing spectacular, but nonetheless, it still does its job. Art style is, at least for me, passable. Some of the world’s art and design are great, while other times it becomes so blended and pixelated that it's kind of hard to see. I experienced this 2–3 times and got stuck a little, but it wasn't that much of a problem. Sounds and music—I don’t think they’re good enough to talk much about. They’re okay. The story is kind of interesting. It starts off without any introduction but tells the player what's going on via environmental or lore bits. The first two games are the weakest in terms of story, but the last one does it surprisingly well. Completing all of them took me 1–2 hours combined. For its price being cheap even without sales, if you grew up in the flash games era like me, I think it’s worth playing them.
