This is a rather simple TD game, which for me got old pretty fast. Every now and then, the game stalls, as if it has to take care of some memory issue, and when I got past some apparently critical number of towers, the screen flashed really bad, making me glad I don't suffer from epilepsy. This game still needs a lot of TLC.

My hope was high, especially when I saw the TD version in Starcraft, but for some reason this was not really done in my opinion. a well-functioning multiplayer system is missing, perhaps as offered by steam (use invite). Towers are not really spectacular (models are missing), they all look a bit the same. the first thing i thought when i started the game was the age of the empire again. it currently feels like a waste of money, and that is sad because I can honestly say that I have played the TD 100+ hours. i really hope this is being update for the best TD out there. i want to recommend the game to other players when it's their, not at this moment

There is this awesome game in SC2 called Entropy TD. It's the best strategic TD ever, before this AMazing TD offers a variant. I think a lot of players trying AMazing TD, as seen in the reviews, came from Entropy TD. Many of them seem taken back by the **difference** between this game and Entropy TD, but I think there is no reason to be taken back, so I will defend my opinion and at the same time offer a comparison: (1) Much more players in Entropy TD than in AMazing TD. Yes, that's what it is at the time of the review. Time might or might not change it. (2) The pace of AMazing TD is faster than Entropy TD. It is, and I think both fast-pace and slow-pace have their advantage. But at least in AMazing one can adjust the speed! (3) There are less towers/creep types/upgrades/options in AMazing TD than in Entropy! That's true. However, as a top 5 player in Entropy TD, let me assure you that the complexity in towers and creep types is not the more important thing that makes Entropy TD the best strategic TD. I think AMazing TD already has the core, and I think it's nice to have it simple for new players. There is a new complication - this U gateway thing - and it introduces brand new mechanics and I think it's fun :) (4) In AMazing TD we can no longer control our towers! And pathing is different. I always want a version of Entropy TD rebalanced and forbids us to micro. Of course that's just my subjective opinion. As for pathing, well, I think pathing in AMazing is just better for a strategic TD.

Honestly the game has some work that needs to be done to it but if your looking for a classic starcraft td outside of starcraft this isn't a bad start. It's still in early access so there are obviously problems/unfinished parts of it but I think its a great start and already currently gets me on a almost once a day to get my dailies and try the new maps. With a little balance and a little more depth this would be a solid td Things I would add/change: - The upgrades curve doesn't seem balanced to me, I always get to a certain point and feel like its just a waste unless there is no room left to build new towers. - I would add more types of +40 upgrades like speed or splash or other types. Currently it only has damage or range. - I also feel like I should be able to control targeting preferences on towers like weak, first, strong, last because certain waves are harder than others just cause you can't control this. (Life waves) - I think the ground affects for boosting towers should also incorporate more bonuses like attack speed and should handle overlapping bonuses. Currently they just have to be next to each other and you have to place a tower perfectly on the line to get both bonuses. - Lastly I think the cost of destroying preset obstacles is WAY to expensive. In reguards to my last point, some maps you cant remove them at all and I get that being its own challenge but sometimes it absolutely hoses you and makes huge chuncks of the map absolutely pointless which sometimes have all the slows/tower buffs/ and money making spots. It also always doubles in cost for each one you remove so if the first cost 97 which like I said is so high, the next is 184 which is outright never worth it in 99% of cases meaning its a useless feature. This is excluding if you do remove 2 the third is astronomical to afford. I digress, the point is if this is going to be a feature of the game it should be much more applicable/useful/worth the cost but that is just my opinion.

This game in one form or another has actually been in development for nearly 10 years. It is a pretty sophisticated puzzle game. I am more of a mainstream guy and I hope the developer puts in some more pizaaz like more towers, and the art style is appealing with moving statues of greek gods and goddesses, although the color scheme is probably due to be de-yellowfied by a notch. A good puzzle game I look forward to returning to play again.

Not polished but a good TD with updates still coming. Fun for solo play mostly but MP is available, just difficult to find a match without Discord. Happy Mazing and TD all!

Been playing this since it was an SC2 Mod back in 2011/2012. Best Tower Defense I've ever played. The steam port is a little buggy, and the UI could use some work, but was happy to buy the game to support a game I've sunk literally thousands of hours into.

Good start for a competitive tower defense game. Still in Early Access, hoping for some more ingame depth. As an Entropy Veteran I am missing features like Income handling, global upgrades, various tower and mob possiblities. But its a good start. throw your money to this guy so he can extend this game and make it as good as entropytd already is.
