Great little modern day DOS. you have to gamble in tavern first for better equipment.

I wanted to play this game for a while, I had 6$ remaining in my steam account and had to buy this! here are my pros and cons for it! and some suggestions.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PROS:
1. Cool game! never actually played a game like this
2. I really enjoy the grinding in this game to get better weapons!
3. I really enjoyed the reputation system. especially when helping strangers and getting rewarded handsomely! :D (do it, you get rewarded a lot of gold!)
4. Every dungeon you play through is the same. I know some people wont like that but me personally. I really enjoy that. it can add a speed run aspect to it! if you fail the game it makes it easier to get back to where you left off because of the dungeon layouts.
5. The beginner shop sells random items each day which I find very interesting. I like it when I play through a run and its different!
6. The mansion is ENORMOUS. so please take precautions. Do not get lost... lol. but yea the mansion is really fun once you get to it!
7. Worth your money and time.

CONS:
1. I was playing through the game and got to the forest part! i was really enjoying it until i kept going deeper into the forest. I continued and got attacked like normal but the game crashed. i couldn't tell why it did but I saw a bunch of white text flash on the screen before it crashed. It really sucks because there is no save option or backup option so that 20 minutes of me playing was all for nothing. I really wanted to continue to explore more of the game but I couldn't. I'm going to have to try again next time :/
For the DEV - (maybe try adding a readline at the end of everything so us players can see the error message and try to post it so you can see why it crashed.)
2. Like I mentioned a little before, THERE IS NO SAVE OPTION. so for those who are very busy, and have to go away from the computer for a day. you are gonna want to keep your game running so it doesn't lose progress.

9/10
In conclusion, I really think this game is quite fun to play! If you have 6$ CAD to spend then I say go ahead! its really worth your free time! The only reason why i give it a 9/10 is because of the crashes. there's just some bugs that need fixing. I'm not sure why the game had a meltdown when i entered the forest even deeper, but it did and because of there not being a save option. I lost my entire run to a glitch. It was pretty disappointing. Besides that, I like the combat in this game. its very enjoyable grinding to get more stuff before heading into the mansion! My recommendation is to NOT head into the mansion as soon as you unlock it because YOU WILL DIE. Trust me. you are going to want to upgrade first. Also always level up your character as soon as possible. Because of this grinding aspect in this game I feel as if it is necessary to have a save option. I'm not sure how hard that is to code but it will save a lot of players headaches just incase they have to go or something happens like a crash. To note! I have not finished this game and have around 96 minutes of playing as of right now of writing this. There's so much more to explore and i'm exited to see more of it when I have the time.
I'm truly awestruck by the sheer dedication evident in every aspect of this game. I cant fathom the amount of hours, love, tears, sweat, and cans of diet coke it took to make this! As someone with a bit of coding experience myself, I cant imagine how much skill / knowledge this took to make. Kudos to the developer for unwavering their commitment and dedication to their craft! Also I hope they release their other game MHL soon. This game Marburgh has a great amount of quality and I hope to see that in MHL too!

So first of all it looks really nice and reminds me of sanctuary rpg, i picked this one up because i liked the look of the dungeon crawling aspect. One thing that bugs me though is im not sure if the dungeons are random or not. This could have just been by chance but i went the same path in the first dungeon as the preview video and the same encounters happened. So if you don't care as much about randomness this game would be for you, I think it has a really cool sibling system and it's definitely worth a shot
