This is a awsome farming game, you build your little farm as you wish any way you want it.. grow crops and raise animals... just keep in mind that it is still being develope but it does worth to buy it now. I would definatly recommend it!!

Avoid at all costs. Last Official update for this "Early Access" title was July 14th 2021. Sure I get it was a solo dev and its not easy making games, and I am sure this is a good one (I ran the game so I can warn others of this game) but with no hope of any bug fixes or the game ever getting finished means this will forever plague the Steam store with another Early Access title that will never see the light of day as a final product. Just save your money, even if this game is 90% off don't pay any money for this game, its abandonware. and a note to others, always check the discussion boards before purchasing Early Access titles, I stupidly didn't do this, but will make sure I will do from now on. It is a shame as this has been on my wishlist for sometime and was excited to see it was on a decent offer. But nope don't fall for it guys. EDIT - After developer response: So the developer has "come back" after best part of a year hiatus, saying they will be working more on the game, Ok thats fine I get that real life gets in the way.. but for how long until the next "life changing" reason. I would still say, keep this on the back burner, wait for the game to be feature complete before spending any money on this game. EDIT 2 - I just thought I will see how this game is progressing since the Developer has said that it isn't abandoned and still working on it... Well no activity on the boards from this developer with the last communication I can see was back in October/November 2022...... Its now currently beginning of March 2023.... So 5 months with no new information or any sign of the developer? I assume another Hiatus is in order.

This is the Farming sim that I wish the big boys had made. I hope the single developer can afford to keep expanding and developing the game as it has so much potential. I wouldn't even mind paying a few dollars for certain features to help out. If you have the attention span of a gnat then its not for you, I find it very addictive and enjoyable, just needs a few things tidied up and a few more features to be truly excellent. Recommended for anyone who likes farm/economy type sims.

20 minutes of game playing and the camera movement is so beyond terrible with no option of adjustment to the point that I was feeling a headache coming on so I had to quit. Maybe if one can get past the camera movement the the terrible control handling you might find the game enjoyable, but for me, unless the game stops giving me motion sickness, I don't see getting much out of it.

Bought this game on sale out of curiosity and because the feedback seemed very positive. I will have to say that with how simple the game looks and feels, I am enjoying it so far, despite for some odd reason my savegame being deleted (bug?) However, I still would not recommend this game right now. Why not? Because it seems to have been abandoned. The dev seems to no longer be active in the game's discussion board, the updates to the game seem to have halted and it has been pointed out to players in the discussions board that the Dev seems to be working on another game under a slightly different name. That being said: If the dev decides to return to working on this game and addressing issues and providing with more content and bug fixes, I am more than willing to reconsider my review.

GREAT GAME! Most farming games that call themselves sims hold my attention very little they just get boring. This game? NO! Already this game has hooked me I love the fact of starting from nothing with hand tools and a pickup truck and working my way up. I love the crop system and vehicles as well. The hand tools are fun to use and really give a good start from nothing feel. There is a lot to do and it is all fun. I love going to the shops to get supplies, fuel, or repair my old truck which is also a good time dropping the tailgate and taking supplies to my work area and back. This game really has a lot going for it and I have hit zero issues so far.

I tried the game out for about an hour. Although simple, the UI and character control is beyond terrible and something I can't see myself ever enjoying, no matter how well I "adapt" to it. Refund requested.

This is a great game. It reminds me of Banished in the sense that everything is available to you from the start and you have to work your way to earn things you need to grow your farm. There is nothing to unlock. You start with simple farming tools and have to work the land by hand and build your way up to eventually using heavy farming equipment. At that point, you'll have a huge farm because the land that you work on is massive. You also have to fuel and repair the vehicles and tools degrade overtime so it's best to keep them in under some shelter. Your character does level up to make them faster or pay less for maintenance and so on. This game works well on a Macbook mid 2015. What makes this game unique is how you control your own character in a top down view. You do all the work and its rewarding. The market economy is excellent. It's always changing at the end of the week so you have an incentive to grow everything and stock up. This is a great game if you enjoy working towards something bigger then what you've started with. The developer is passionate about the game and open to suggestions. Future updates are going to make this game so much more then what it is now. For instance, the developer will be including seasons. For what it is now, it's definitely worth buying. There is already so much to do.

Please note [b]Farmington County has contained a game-breaking bug since October 3, 2022[/b] whereby your saved games erase themselves for no reason - [b]this is still present as of August 25, 2024[/b]. The developer was aware he broke this game yet chose to once again halt development on this one to go work on another of his myriad of unfinished titles. I strongly recommend not buying this or his other titles until he exhibits some form of proof he's capable of finishing a game.

I like this game, It has a lot of potential. This is truly a early access game. So with that being said, the controls are a little funky but the concept is great. Iv only played about 2 hours and so far it seems like there is enough here that makes this a decent start. Does this game have flaws, yes there are some things that are being worked on... its in development. But it is playable and runs smoothly. So for now I'm going to recommend it if you are looking for a game to invest in and track its development! I hope the developer keeps with the game as they have a good concept going!
