Fun game so far. Could use more unique instances and choices in game.

This is a neat game. It combines some travel elements of FTL with combat similar to a pared-down Gratuitous Space Battles. There's some resource management, cardplay to influence battles, and satisfying meta-progression. It's worth checking out

Decent little game if a bit overpriced for what it delivers. It can be fun as a blend of autobattler and roguelike jump choices similar to FTL, but leaves room for improvement.
Combat is ALMOST there, but is a little fast and doesn't seem to reward actually engaging with it seriously. In similar map-direction choice games (FTL, Slay the Spire, etc) there is always a reward that is proportional to the risk of combat. The main mechanic in Corpoct is your resource management, and combat is almost always a very small, unnoticeable positive or overall net negative, resource additions/expenditures being the only consistent result from any battle. There are occasional additional rewards, but they feel random, and getting the weakest ship in the game as a reward (where its possible to get one of the strongest) feels like a waste because it WILL die in your next fight and there's no way to preserve it or hold it back.
All that being said, avoiding combat is boring, and often the events you encounter in trying to avoid it simply push you into combat anyway.
Runs for me have devolved into click fests where I try to optimize earning 8-15 of the meta progression points (you need a minimum of 10 to buy anything) as quick as possible, nudging progression forward, and going again. It will be fun enough for a few hours, but I doubt I'll spend more than that.
