Better than it looks! Hoooowever.. You can't even navigate the menus if you only have a keyboard. Not only odd, that's quite terrible in itself. But the gameplay is really neat. I played plenty of Triplane Turmoil during the turn of the century and this could very well be a spiritual successor to it. Controls are great/good. Powerup system is fantastic. The option screen is lacking.. Hope I'm wrong and just blind, but I can't find an option to turn off the damn (gamepad) vibration. What gives?

Very fun party game! However, the music is funny the first minute, tiring the second, and will drive you either to turn off your speakers or nuts by the third.

First played this at Melbourne PAX 2019 and its been in my steam wishlist ever since. Played it with my 2 kids over the weekend and they loved it also. They couldn't stop laughing! The controls were easy enough for a 4 year old, we play with xbox controllers on PC. Just a really good couch game. The soundtrack goes perfectly with the game play and the special weapons are a good mix. 8 player madness. Highly recommended!!!!

This should be on your list of "must haves" purely for the wonderfully "Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines" bouncy old timey music... ...but there are a clobbering of other reasons to get your mitts on this as soon as humanly possible.

One of the few games I'll more than actively encourage you to not even wait for a Steam Sale as the price point not only is very reasonable and affordable, but you'll find yourself wanting to congratulate this small dev team even further after playing a while! At its core this is the 1984 "Sopwith" rebooted to magnificent effect, tiny 2D planes controlled over a wrapped screen zipping and flipping and blipping around in intense, and in this titles itteration, hilarious effect. Actual dogs doing dogfights defying err....other things that shouldn't fly. You get a Bear, Kitty, Duck, Piggy (of course), Bunny, Snake and 2 mouserats i think one is s Shrew, to choose from. With 3 plane types and the 8 characters to combine some variety is available alongside the grouping of special weapons with one shot effects ranging from dropping an Anvil on your opponents fluffy head to leaving a bug zapper or black hole behind you. This is not a single player game, although you can play it alone against the bots the prime directive here is the mad fun of up to 8 player couch co-op or using the clever Steam Remote Play feature (the game's owner streams via Steam to a friend who uses their keyboard/mouse/pad). This is where the magic happens... ...having tested this via Remote Play from South Africa to a Slovak friend I can tell you it works fine but the distance made occasional lag issues pop up for us (300ms ping) and spent time with my small human girl child (ok its 25 doing its Doctorate, whatever) who loved it, I can vouch for the inane fun potential to be had. I must re-iterate the absolute joy the game's custom composed and very well crafted musical score induces. Bouncy flouncy and relevant, I actually thought they were original tunes from the era and subsequently have caught myself singing the damn things in the shower, I mean...high accolade! Superbly good fun with a friend or group (my mom tried it!), a highly recommended clever and damn fun little title.

For more reviews and rantings, march over to my Curator Page, The Imaginings of a Gamer|
