Fun and short little puzzle game. Well worth the price.

This is a great little game, by a great indie dev. Short but sweet, with elements of puzzle and horror thrown in. Here for a good time but not a long time, I enjoyed it.

I got this game because I enjoyed the For Evelyn demo. Since it won't be coming out for a while, I looked for other games by the same developer, Kisuarts, and found this one!
The gameplay was very straightforward, especially with the contrast in aesthetics that made it easier to navigate. The only issue I had was interacting with high objects: direct clicking didn't work for me, so I had to click on the floor or the space below them instead. It wasn't intuitive, but it also wasn't a huge hassle.
The story was quite sad but hopeful. The music and sounds were very well placed and gave a sense of urgency throughout the game.
I enjoyed this little taste of what the developer can do and look forward to playing For Evelyn when it comes out!

This is a really short little story, it took me 25 minutes to play through and I don't expect there's much or any replayability. Thank god for that low price. The narrative suggests that there is a rush, that it is time sensitive, but in practice there's no feel of that at all.
DEVS. I think this game could benefit from some punishments, even if they're small, such as after moving so many squares after mother leaves, she comes back and you're sent to your room and have to wait for the next reason she leaves the house. I'm not saying this game was trying to be anything more, but it plays like one step up from a very simple point and click escape the room game.
When you pick up items they appear in your onscreen item slots, which is nice but since none of them seem to have multiple uses there's not really much reason for that. If you have the item then you can use the item for the one purpose it has, that's it. There's no creative uses behind the items so having a visual for them isn't necessary. Also, after using an item, when it is no longer actually in your inventory it will still display as being in your inventory on screen. Using items, however, will show you that those already used items aren't listed as usable things that you have on you.
I enjoyed this. Despite its low cost it might still be too much for some people for what it is, and i wouldn't blame anyone for thinking that. If you're like me though, it's kind of nice to just finish something. It has a nice message and I hope the devs make more games like this, hopefully with more content. This same story could have been two or three times longer and would have made the few moments of tension carry more weight.
I'm not really sure what the risk is of buying it when a full playthrough is possible in less time than the max play time for a return... if you don't like it, return it. If you enjoyed it, let the devs keep your pocket change.

A very nice, almost visual-novel like RPGMAKER game, you examine objects and they tell you what to do next. There aren't any puzzles, you just interact with things and get instructed to do the next thing, then solve a mystery about you and your mother. It is pretty short, story is well written and has emotional impact.
