I really love momentum based platformers and Cyber Hook doesn't disappoint. It's a very easy game to get into since the mechanics, which are very well designed, feel pretty intuitive at first even if you realize you're not using their full potential when watching replays from the top players. This game is a good example of easy to learn and hard to master. The core ability of the game, the hook, gives a lot of opportunities, many of which you wouldn't even think of, to use momentum to get to high speed and basically fly through levels. As you progress through the levels you will find yourself using your hook more efficiently to get the best time you can, and maybe even get on the leaderboards. Once you get the hang of it, the movement is extremely smooth and finally improving your time after many tries is incredibly satisfying. Cyber hook is a must play for anyone who likes high speed platformers. It very often goes on sale for less than 2 euros, a price which I find amazing for such a fun game, but I think it still would be completely worth it to buy at full price

Fun game, smooth mechanics. Runs smoothly on my steam deck, also play it on my gaming laptop with wireless controller support. Definitely would recommend.

Amazing game, very simple yet fun.. Not too hard but most levels take a few tries Perfect if you have 15 minutes of time and want to do something

Very fluid and fun movement, just wish a few level's difficulties were toned down eg "you're burning feels rather frustruating to navigate. In addition i would love to see some of the timings for stars made slightly less tight

Fun grappling hook game. Its pretty short but it could be longer if you try to 3 star every single level. I didnt because there were a few levels that just make me sick even thinking about them. But other than that its great. I also really like the graphic change in ,,The Comeback" chapter.

Cyber hook is a fantastic, fast paced speedrunning game where you sprint, swing and fly through courses to get to the finish as fast as possible. The games movement on paper is simple with wall running, a grapple and a double jump but as you playthrough the levels and strive to improve your times you discover more and more tricks for saving time and gaining speed. The achievements for the most part are fairly good and if youre going for 3 stars on all levels you'll get almost all of them by the time you do however there is one achievement which can be quite tedious to get and that is Better than united airlines. Overall 10/10 on my rating and i'd highly recommend for anyone wanting to go fast!!

Great grapple mechanics and I like how they treated the momentum in this. Most of the levels hit that sweet spot where each failed attempt isn't gonna cost you more than a minute, and the double R press for an instant restart makes you always want to keep going. There's not much in the way of story or combat but this isn't the kind of game that really needs that as long as it's nice to look at, which it is.
