Cyber Hook is a fast, simple, rewarding platformer where movement and hooking feels great and progression stays satisfying throughout. The only real downside is that some levels felt unfairly hard and air acceleration could've been higher to match movement strafing acceleration. I was able to finish the game with all stars at around 4 hours and with the discount it's absolutely worth it.

This game was catastrophically fun. Pretty much exactly what I wanted it to be. I beat it in a little over 5 hours, but I'll probably go back to get the best times on every level.

Как и говорят многие в отзывах- под конец люто передушнили. Бесконечные красные коридоры где любое соприкосновение со стенами приводит к гибели. Да ещё и челлендж сводится уже не к скорости прохождения, а просто к поискам выхода с уровня, потому что закрытые лабиринты из душных кубов затрудняют навигацию. Я так понимаю сделано это было для того чтобы разнообразить скудный набор базовых механик. Ну и чисто субъективно- механика хука здесь очень странно реализована. Помимо того что хук очень короткий, ещё и управление с ним какое-то неприятное. Тебе вроде бы всё время хочется по кайфу полетать на большой скорости, но каждый раз скорость сбрасывается или хук притягивает тебя к точке ты начинаешь дрыгаться как дурак. Жаль что я поздно узнал о функции авто-отпускания хука (она запрятана в категории для спидранеров). Именно механика отцепления на отдельную клавишу меня порядком подводила. Она явно багованная (хук может не отцепиться даже после нескольких нажатий кнопки).
