I really enjoyed what I've played so far. Its pretty simple to start but after a while the hack and slash combat gets very fun. The combat is smooth and plays very well and its not too easy but not too hard that newcommers would have a hard time The story is great too which is not typical of most of the vr games I've played, and the music is incredible and makes the game feel very exciting.

I just started this, but I'm already having a lot of fun. At first I was a little confused about combat, but quickly I adapted to stunning enemies. The art is unique, the combat is fun, and it's different than a lot of other VR games.

Great game. The game has it all. Sword combat action, a cool story line, and some puzzles to solve too. All with a soundtrack that keeps you going. These alone make it worth the cost. You will get hours of time out of this one. Being able to play seated is an added plus for me.

This game is a blast to play so far really enjoying it. You can get a real workout playing this game as you slash your way through enemies. The AI definitely is not to be underestimated and will wreck you if you're not careful. Arena mode is a good time as you battle waves of enemies. I've put 5 hours into this game so far and still am not bored. If you like a challenge be sure to purchase this game.

One of the first VR games I've bought since getting my Oculus Rift, Orion 13 is a perfect blend of action and futuristic adventure with a mesmerizing soundtrack. Definitely will recommend to friends!

This game should absolutely still have an Early Access tag on it. I don't know what version the other reviewers have been playing, but I didn't even make it out of the tutorial before ditching this junk. - Constant issues with the game losing calibration between my model and my headset/controllers, requiring me to re-calibrate almost constantly. At one point I was controlling my model's arms from halfway across the room somehow. - No comfort options to speak of besides snap turning. - Aiming point with the left hand projectile weapons was god knows where, certainly not where my controller or even in-game hand were pointing. - Swordplay was incomprehensible, with no feedback worth speaking of. Half the time I'd swing and connect with the training dummy and it would flash? despite a sound like blades clashing and both of its weapons clearly being in the way to block. Or I'd swing, connect cleanly, and see no result whatsoever. Plus the whole time the training dummy was leaping around like it had done all the meth in the world and was also made out of rubber. The thing literally inverted its hips and head at one point. Avoid. Avoid at all costs.

There is no way to use weapons in your left hand as far as I can tell. Combat is also a little 'floaty' i.e weapons just sorta phase through enemies instead of colliding like most melee-focused VR games. Can't really fault it for $4 but I'm left-handed so I'm unable to play the game properly. That said, the aesthetic was pretty cool and there are killable passive NPCs which you almost never see in VR games. Voice acting was a bit funny but I suppose it holds a certain charm.

Bought this on a whim and I'm glad I did. It's a lot of fun. The story kept me entertained and interested though somewhat predictable. Bonus points because it was pretty funny. The gameplay is definitely fast as advertised. It kept me engaged and made me break a sweat at times. The graphics themselves are not AAA but stick to a retro futuristic style with worlds that are colorful, diverse, and delightful. The soundtrack had me hooked. Definitely worth the buy

I'm playing on an Oculus Quest 2 with a GTX1060. The stellar opening (credits with story background) really had my hopes high, but then the cut scenes started, and the actual game play... they just lack the same polish. Controls seem clunky, and this doesn't feel optimized for Touch controllers (the sword and ranged attacks stick out at weird angles, like a lot of Vive games ported to the Oculus). Glitching through the floor to your death is not uncommon, and then you reload only to immediately die the same way. Combat is a lot of thrashing, and be ready to use your sword, special abilities, and inventory items all at the same time.

I love the world and atmosphere, but the combat is outright non-functional. The player model is unresponsive to the player, and you'll be recalibrating yourself every 5 seconds, along with many other frustrations that come with the body system this game employs. Enemy models jerk between animations seemingly at random as they slide towards you and melt away your health with no visual feedback whatsoever. Blocking is useless, so combat remains centred around rushing your opponent and waggling your sword at them until either you or them fall down. To address this, the developer has added the stun, heath steal, and double damage mechanics, the first two being beams that you shoot out of your left controller for their respective effects and the latter slowing dow ntime and increasing melee damage. These are awkward bandaids over the fundamentally unfinished gameplay mechanics that only highlight the problems in how the game is put together. I really wanted to like this game. The world is so weird and interesting and vr enhances this immersion greatly, but unfortunately, it just isn't good to play. I got this game on sale for about $3 CAD so I can't bring myself to harp on it too much, but if I had paid the regular price of $22 CAD I would absolutely have asked for a refund. As it stands, I hope the developer takes a good look at the systems of this game and revamps the combat system accordingly, or at the very least carries the lessons learned from this game into their next project, because I do want to see more from them in the future.
