A turn-based space station crawler with intuitive controls. You are dropped right into the adventure and learn everything as you go, so it's a smooth start.
The core idea is that except for movement whatever you do is done via selecting cards from your hand that represent various actions, depending on your available gear -- attack, heal, get to cover, get info, retreat, and so on. Obviously, there's a deck building element here, and finding "the" right combos is always fun.
Don't expect big drama or story in this game, but if you're a fan of cheesy 1950--60s sci-fi movies (as you should be), you'll find all the beloved tropes here. The areas you're exploring are procedurally generated, but there's a predefined progression of scenes, although I admit, I haven't been able to complete a full run yet. There are also various kinds of challenges and the obligatory "daily run."
Extra points for the Captain's voice, a 2nd best Shatner-impression after Kevin Pollak's.

It's a good game. It has a fun exploration mechanic interesting levels. The way the game mechanic works, I can almost imagine playing D&D but using Magic the Gathering cards as your stack of abilities. You start out the game with an inventory of items, each is a one-time-use and gets "discarded" when it's used. When you pick up new items during exploration, they get put on the bottom of the deck, which can expand out to about 50~ cards. When they all get used up, the deck gets shuffled and re-dealt.
Just like Magic, one of the strategies here is to build a deck that contains useful, synergistic cards, and not to bloat it with every single thing you see lying on the floor. It would be different if you could just hit "I" and open your inventory to use an item, but you can't. Everything you pick up goes to the BOTTOM and you can only use the top cards. So it makes sense to toss out the useless ones and keep the deck trim with only what you use.
Anyway, it's worth a buy. I'm interested to see where the developer takes it.

The idea is cool and works well. Once you get used to the deck, feels like " ok I can do this " ....then you die.
Start over do better, die, repeat. You realize that it's not recommended to loot anything, but just things you think will do better. Sometimes you'll hope the exit is just around the corner, then you die.
If you can get over the first 3-4 runs just to get familiar with the cards then you'll like this game.
Hope there will be more content, I see a lot of potential here. For the actual price (early access) you get the right amount of stuff.
