Graphics are terrible, controls are even worse.

This game is a fun side scroller shooter that keeps you on your toes with challenging levels and unique controls, for five bucks this is definitely a fun game to sit down and grind through.

The game is unique and entertaining. The controls need some getting used to but once you get them you can play game easy. I would highly recommend getting this game if are looking for something new to try.

bought this on a whim i mostly play free games. this game is really fun for $5, its harder than i thought though. the beginning is awkward but the mouse point and shoot aspect is addictive once you get used to it. artwork is very indie and story is cute.

- Good challenge. The game may look like a fast paced shooter but it actually makes you think each movement carefully. - There is a very wide variety of weapons ranging from futuristic blasters to bow and arrows... even a flamethrower! Also grenades and a knife for melee. - Enemies can follow you even in uneven terrain (i.e. they can jump to get to you), which create high tension situations where you must run from enemies and bullets while trying to finish them off as quickly as possible. - Music and graphics are nice, with a retro style that fits the game nicely. - You must rescue your cat. You simply can't say no to a game with this premise. - Price is very nice. A very fun game overall :)

My friends name is Sullivan so I bought it without looking at it instantly, but I love it graphics and aesthetics are great, gameplay is also great although the controls could use the work and it gets VERY hard in the latter levels

I've put in a few hours into this platformer so far and I really enjoy. It does have a bit of a learning curve and have gotten stuck a few times but all in all I really like it. The graphics are really cool and the music is really soothing to listen to. I love both cats and moon walking so couldn't have asked for a better combo in a platformer.

I'm writing this with two hours logged on this game. I've finished the first level and played a bit of the second, so one could extrapolate that this will take 10-15 hours to play through. Here are some first impressions:

This is definitely a platformer. The jumps needed to continue along your path are difficult, and some took me several tries to make.
Controller support is next to nonexistant. The keybinds are moved to a controller without any modification. Targeting is controlled by the right stick, which slowly moves the cursor. It isn't practical when you're trying to track an enemy as it moves across the screen.
The learning curve frustated me, but it smoothed out. It takes a minute or sixty to get used to the different enemies and weapons and to develop strategies for each one.
The randomness of weapon acquisition is fun. Enemies will sometimes drop weapons, and some are definitely better than others. A weapon dropping mid-combat can instantly change the dynamic of a fight.
The story is cute, but gets little focus. You only really see it in the transitions between screens and levels.
The soundtrack is fast-paced and may encourage a similar playstyle, but I've been more successful holding back and carefully aiming my shots with the crouch stabilizer.
This game was well worth the money. $5 is a bargain for the amount of content and play time this game offers.
