This game was one of those really pleasant surprises for me. I enjoyed playing each and every mission because none of them gave me the feeling that i can't wait for it to be over so i can move on to the next. I really liked the idea behind the Story and the voice actors were amazing at helping telling it (almost gave me goosebumps). I found a few minor glitches here and there but none of them broke the immersion that his game manages to pull the player into. I recommend this game to anyone that is a simulation / Sci-Fi / strategy fan.

The game starts with a yawn fest intro about Global Warming. I find that to be the most boring subject imaginable and am not into self flagellation I didn't really pay attention. Eventually you are presented with a very basic and rough cut clone of Homeworld. This could have been great, however it lacks some interface functions needed to really make a good go at it. For example. a STOP command button would be useful when driving your mothership around. A short time into the game you are presented with the first 3 enemy ships. If you destroy them as I did instead of warping away, the game locks up and you cannot progress any further and you can't access the game menu and are forced to use task manager to shut it down. This blows. While quite pretty to look at, it needs a lot of work to make it a fun experience so at this time I cannot give a thumbs up, maybe after some updates it will be a worthwhile purchase, but at this time, its a thumbs down.
