Yeah, if you like the idea of the punishment and grind in a kitchen, it's pretty good. Definitely the best I've seen on the market so far. This so far has seemed to pacify my masochistic want for the old kitchen life.

This game is quite relaxing so far :) I like the fact that I have the options - so during services I don't have to rush through dishes :P

I thoroughly love this game, in fact I've played it through on easy, and now with all the difficult settings (burnt food, angry impatient customers, etc.) and I even did one of the recipes (baked sea bream) at home for my son! If you know roughly how to cook, it's not hard to implement any of these recipes at home 😁 Even the spaghetti bolognese at one point uses the ingredients of the original one from Italy (onion, celery and carrot) so that made me happy, as it's the base for the one I make for my kids. I do wish they'd bring out more expansions, as I've completed all of those as well, and would love to do a dessert EP, or cakes, or anything else really. Maybe a mexican EP? It seems there are more recipes in The Sims 4 than this cooking game. The music is enjoyable, it never gets annoying, unlike in some other games, and none of them are earworms either. The graphics are very well done, some of the food makes you actually hungry IRL. Best cooking game I've ever played. I love that you unlock new recipes as you gain XP and can upgrade every basic recipes to gastronomic level. There's lots to do, includng challenges and special requests from the public and notable figures that visit from town. You also have to help your chefs level up. Starting off with a smaller kitchen and dining room makes it more manageable, and being able to choose different setups and sizes as you progress is a nice touch. You're able to decorate the kitchen and dining room with different styles and themes, and even buy new colours of cookware to match. Different clothing style, hats and hairstyles are unlocked as you go too. It's like they thought of everything; there's nothing I don't like.

Loving the game, it's a very interesting and new approach to the restaurant simulation games I've ever played. I was curious to know it there's any plans for new content for the game? Like new updates, events, or even new DLCs. It would be nice to have new recipes, more costumers in the restaurant and a longer gameplay during serving time. Or even, if its possible, a desserts DLCs and more around the world foods.

Pros: Chill, relaxed game plenty of recipes and stuff to do immersive and fun Cons: The time requirement for tables SUCKS. I just turned it off. Also, I rarely use my chefs because I would rather just have fun cooking the food myself. I didn't get this game to rush, I got it to relax. I get hungry from playing seeing the food I cook and then I go get a snack and now I'm fat. Is it worth it? On sale. $30 is an insane price for this and when it goes on sale a lot is taken off, like 80%. Just wait to buy it. I give this game 8.5/10 stars because it's chill and relaxing, a great game about cooking.

Game runs very poorly. There's definitely a memory leak somewhere, as the frame rate tanks over time. Concept is awesome though.

Overall , I like this game. Certain things that I don't like about this game is : - you know the part where the chef ( player ) when the chef finish plating , there this proud pose moment , something like that , I wish it would be shorter. - sous chef , when they help you prep like the steak sauce or the lemon butter whipped something , when you take it , you have to take the pan then take the sauce. I dont like that , I wish when they finished the sauce prep it would be ready in a bowl like the fries. But anyway , I like the game features. I like the free plating features. I like the simulation , its fun. I love the feeling of rush when in services.

Amazing game, love being able to make my own plates of food, mini games for cooking. Love how you need to learn a recipe first, you can't just know and put it on the menu. It's very active in getting you to do things and I love that! I love the customization of the dinning room and kitchen, and love how you build stories and relationships. Highly recommend. Hoping for Desert, Chinese, Spanish, Greek DLC in the future.

It has it's moments, but honestly? just go play cooking simulator, it's a watered down version of that packaged to look shinier with a few extra things and actual people interaction, but, that's about it. Wish there was a neutral option, it's not a bad game, I'll leave positive for now but I'd say it's a 6/10 for me.
