Playtime: 104 minutes
Casual hitboxes, repetition of boring and annoying enemies that hit you just because you're bored of the repetition (at best they change skins or they add basic slimes after the first two chapters) or because the protagonist refuse to attack normally at random or because of both, there are also a lot of cheap hits in the moment you enter a room, casual input lags while jumping or trying to jump and also dull and boring upgrades that feel weightless since the problems from before also include the casual enemies that does 2 damages (that because of their repetition and boring mechanics doesn't make them difficult just more annoying). You can't even have that much fun with your magic. So no, even without those technical problems it wouldn't be good as a Metroidvania, even for a discount. After all even vibrant colours becomes meh after being associated with something boring and annoying, I mean there could be some repetition but those elements must be placed in an interesting way and with interesting pattern/mechanics, so they can be always seen as a challenge and/or fun, but that's not the case unfortunately
