Poorly optimized, played on low settings and still get 5-30 FPS, the render distance is bad, despite lowering the render distance I can still see detailed trees on the mountains rather than blur or fog making it lag, need improvements on electric system, rain is useless it does not fill the buckets or the drinking bowls, map icons are annoying I cannot pinpoint accurately, limited furniture, need improvements on trees 1 log for 2 planks bruhh, despite disabling motion blur it still got some motion blur every time I move items around making me dizzy, Annoying vehicle delay controls, and finally I cannot carry more than 1 light items.
Still a good game though, not completely unplayable because of the lag, but sometimes I'm having a headache playing like literally because of the motion blur despite disabling it on settings and the unpolished textures of the ground and trees in low settings every time I look around while driving.

My girlfriend and I love playing this game together. It's a great and not an overly complex game, easy to learn fun to play but, after so many hours it just turns into the same thing over and over again. i really enjoy the sheep shearing but i hope to see something more than "raise, harvest, sale" kind of thing. i think adding clothes making, full meal making or something similar would really make the game in the higher hours more fun and engaging. overall 8/10 just wish there was a little more after playing it for 60+ hours.

The bones are there. If you get it for $5 it's worth it. It's definitely not worth full price.
There are a ton of bugs that need fixing. You'll get insane fps drops when there are to many dead animals on the ranch, ai cars constantly rubberbanding and smashing into you, anytime you drop a tree or skin an animal it'll lag you out and glitch your toon all over the screen, and random holes in the ground that will get your vehicle stuck for literally no reason.
The driving is so bad it's almost funny. Please for the love of god when I press the gas, just let the car go..no need to redline it before it takes off.
The animal care is fun, the building is ok. Like I said, the bones are there. It just needs some serious optimization.

This game is a prime example of realism getting in the way of enjoyment;
On one hand I understand they wanted to make certain things realistic, but on the other hand it's still a game and unfortunately they've sacrificed fun for a more realistic but tedious grind that just goes on forever.
I would normally be a bit more sympathetic to a game as buggy and clanky as this - if it were early access, but despite the long-known issues they've not only called it finished but also released DLC (The content of which is minimal and really ought to have been part of the base game anyway.)
Ranch Sim has huge potential - they could've done so much more with it, but it really just felt like a chore to play.

It just feels so clunky and unfinished, and so lifeless in so many areas.

I personally had a hard time with this game with I played it. It definitely needs to be worked on. I was told that it would be fun but I honestly couldn't get into the game. The graphics and controls are confusing to me and I can't find things that I needed. There was no good guidance at all. I hope that the company can improve this game the idea is there. Its just not really ready for players.

Haha this game is Jank in all the right places. Started the tutorial and had to go to the hardware store but when I got there there was a fucking bear inside. So naturally I had to blow its head off and feed its meat to my 2 newly acquired chickens. 10/10

Ok, the more time you spend on this, the more you realize how bad the mechanics are.
You have to enter the chicken coops to clean them and collect eggs, which is fine until you get stuck in there and find out there is no unstuck command so you have to load the last save, which is usually the beginning of the day so you're out a whole days work.
Driving the vehicles in this game makes Farm Simulator driving seem amazing by comparison. The vehicles have a built in delay so if you are trying to move a little bit to line up with a trailer, you can forget it because the vehicle sits there while you are pushing the forward or reverse key, not moving, then it shoots forward or backwards like 50 feet. Hitch a trailer to your vehicle and you get to watch it swerve all over the road when you speed up until it causes you to jackknife. Hit a bump and you can get flipped over. Take a turn fast and you spin wildly out of control. Good luck backing a trailer into a building, that isn't happening with the delay in movement and the wonky trailer mechanics.
Overall, even under $5 this game just isn't worth it because of poor mechanics and lazy coding.
Building is a pain in the azz. Fences don't like to snap together and half the time the fence faces the wrong direction when it does snap together so your fences will have the crossbeams on different sides which makes it look like you don't know how to make a fence. Teardown is a pain since you have to remove parts in a specific order, but then you can't really get to the roof beams to take them down. Oh, and fences don't snap to existing building blocks either. Great fun trying to line up a fence with a barn.
