I am very sad that this great game has hardly been recognized. My heart goes out to the developers, because this one should have been a hit. Maybe interest will pick up. The developers deserve. I'm all in for you guys.
I played the Demo and it was a bit hard but the game has checkpoints so you don't have to worry about losing all your progress. I didn't check the demo, but I bought and installed the full game in which there is a "Greenthorn" level of difficulty for more casual players that just want to have fun. I have not played the full game yet, only starting. But this little game is really neat and deserves much more attention and credit than what it's getting. Try the Demo and check it out first. It's great. I was really sad that a sequel was BroForce never released, but this helps fills the gap. You can choose controller or keyboard. Controller is great because it's easier on my right wrist. Job well done! Thanks to the developers!

What's the opposite of fun and enjoyable. This f*cking game called Flippin Kaktus. I would rather flip my d*ck than play this piece of sh*t. By looking at the store page and the cover art, I thought this is going to be fun platformer game. F*ck me in the as* until I pass out for thinking like that. This game is the most irritating, annoying and nerve inducing game I've ever played. I thought I knew what bad games are. This t*rd takes the sh*t scale to next level. Let's make a list about why this game s*cks Donkey Kong's hairy b*lls:
Useless HP Bar: Most of the enemies one shot you. What's the f*cking point of an HP bar when every single thing in this f*cking game kills you in one hit. Only melee enemies kill you in two hit but they are easy to dodge so it is unnecessary.
Main Character Is A Wimp: Without rage mode or special collectibles, your attacks don't hurt enemies. You can't kill a f*cking small spider. You are not OP in rage mode either. You have dash attack which you have to get close to an enemy to use it which is very risky. And you have a projectile attack which doesn't go far. Enemy bullets on the other hand, flies all across the screen. Yeah, miss me with that unfair bullsh*t
Checkpoints: Checkpoints are placed so far from each other that it completely loses its purpose. Maybe on the lower difficulty level it has more checkpoints but on the difficulty I've played it wasn't enough. I played the game on medium. "The game's recommend setting" said in the difficulty select and it also said "offers a little bit of challenge". F*ck that sh*t. It should have said, "prepare for a second an*s"
Screen is a mess: Everywhere you go, the screen is filled with boxes, bags, tnts, explosive barrels. You can't take a step without bumping into a box. You better careful when fighting enemies because if their bullet or your projectile hits the tnt you will die.
Unfair Difficulty: This game is hard for the sake of being hard. It does not offer a fair challenge. I think the devs said "let's make it as hard as possible, forget about the game balance. Let's the f*ck player every chance we get" When I was playing this piece of horse sh*t there was only one thing in my mind. "Let me breath, let me rest" This game is ruthless. You avoid enemies and jump to a platform. Ceiling falls to your head and kills you. Next time you move a little bit further to avoid ceiling and this time the floor underneath you falls and you die. ALSO, WHY IN THE NAME OF F*CK EVERY BRIDGE IN THIS GAME COLLAPSES? EVERY SINGLE BRIDGE STARTS FALLING APART WHEN YOU START TO WALK ON IT. You better be fast otherwise back to checkpoint. You come to compressors, you have to wait for them to pass. You touch the side of the compressor, and you die. WHAT THE F*CK? WHY IS THIS GARBAGE GAME SO HARD?
Fall Damage: This is a platformer game in which you take damage if you jump from too high. I DON't F*CKING BELIEVE IT! Have you guys played Super Mario, Ducktales or any other good platformer games?
These are the reasons made me vomit and have a breakdown while playing. After awhile game stops being enjoyable and turns into a f*cking nightmare. The even have the audacity to tell you a funny story in the cutscenes. F*ck you and your sense of humor. When you put me into such trouble just to pass a level, I don't care about your useless story. Take that story script and shove it up your as*. This game is the reason why I lost my hope for indie games. 5 to 10 years ago the indie games were the real deal. We played some amazing gems and now look at all this bullsh*t indie games on Steam. Wasting money on these atrocities is a crime. I finished it, and I don't want to ever hear the word cactus again. I would rather play with my own intestines than play anymore of this garbage. I would rather shove a cactus up my as* and use it as a plug.

It goes for a Broforce vibe, at least in terms of design. It is a very different game however, which requires thinking and very careful steps, because most enemies can one-shot you.
That would be fine on its own, but many sections can be hit and miss; one wrong move and you are back in the beginning. I don't mind some challenge in my games, but I have to question when a game stops being fun for the sake of difficulty.
