I love these guys and its comics, always had tons of fun and huge laughs with them.
The game it's a one hour point and click adventure with very few dialogs, and maybe 20 puzzles to solve, not more. It's missing "La sexta secta" which is the final part of the adventure, so this game is basically cut in half (I've played complete version back in the day). Probably the worst is that if you are used to the comics, the game has pretty few of the essence of these guys, except for the video introduction and just a couple dialog lines that could make you smile. It's missing its catastrophee-like endings, their charisma (horrible voicing doesn't help) and their comical situations everywhere. Even the drawings, backgrounds and scenarios are not particularly inspired.
Also it has compatibility issues with modern systems (strange library installation required, the sound mixer doesn't work, so the music it's at unnaceptable high level and it's impossible to hear the dialogs, I could not play on my Steam Deck...)
At this price point, this Steam release it's totally a joke from the developers and it only show lazyness and lack of effort to make a decent update or improvement of the original game. I've got this game on sale at a quarter of it's price but even with that, it's still unacceptable.
"Mortadelo&Filemón" truly deserves a better treatment.
