A pirate quartermaster Reviews
Did you think you'd win with a snap of your fingers? Did you think you'd see a crew as a number? Did you think you'd gorge without fear of judgements? But, sir, you're not in the Royal Navy. The pirate's life is a life of dreams. And it's precisely because we have a shitty life that we have dreams.

I would really want to give this game a positive review just for the attempt, but I would lie if I said I'll pick it up ever again, and it doesn't seem the dev is planning on any sequels, so not much to support here anyway I assume?
The game as it is would've been much better as a text novel. Mainly because the current 2d design doesn't have much sense of style to it, and in such cases, it can be better to leave the graphics to the player's imagination.
All in all, it's definitely a fresh look at Sid Meier's Pirates, only inferior in pretty much all the other design choices. Might as well get yourself a Sega emulator and just play the OG
