Started 3 months ago and still haven't finished this at the time of writing this review. Not as enjoyable as the previous SciADV entries... the pacing seems slow and I can't stand Daru honestly. Will change my review and give an overall opinon after finishing.

It has its moments, but considering it's part of the Robotics;Notes story line, it is quite disappointing. It fails to match the quality and overall 'level' of its predecessor. At the end of the day, it still possesses the soul of an entry set in the SciADV universe. So, if you enjoy the world it's set in, I recommend giving it a read.

Whoever thought it was a good idea to have Daru as the protaganist was out of their mind. He is annoying enough in Steins;Gate but here you also have to read his inner monologues which makes him even worse. I did not even like Kaito but man did I wish they just had made him the lead again. Especially since he seems to have grown a lot. Sadly I'll never know just how the cast of characters I grew to love in Robotics;Notes Elite has grown because I refuse to read this perversion of the first game any further. As soon as the villain from Elite makes a surprise appearance which completly undermines his whole character, presenting him as a cartoony idiot I just stopped. It feels like they were just reluctant to give anything of quality with this entry. Instead of giving you more time with your favorite characters they push all male characters to the side and put all female characters in uncomftorable situations with the most disgusting excuse of a protaganist. Had to get that of my chest. I usally try to be more positive in my reviews but this one feels just like such a betrayel of it's predecessor.
