I loved this puzzle game. All the characters like shrew and Rhea are so adorable. The animation and noises they make are very cute. The worlds are also challenging making the game worth while. I also love the music and the controls are easy to learn. I definitely recommend giving this game a try.

I'm really enjoying Way of Rhea so far! I've almost made it through all the single mechanic puzzles and I'm looking forward to the dual and triple mechanic ones. The game reminds me quite a bit of Braid: high level of polish, simple but challenging puzzle mechanics, easy rewinding to retry/correct mistakes, and a cute story that's drawing me in (though remains to be seen if it will play with my emotions at the end). Definitely worth giving a try if you like puzzle games!

Ryan Reynolds voice acting really sold it. His character doesn't show up until like 2 hours in during the boss battle but it was so worth it. I laughed so hard.
Like overall the game is pretty good. It has some cute character art, and fun puzzles, I really hate the animation on the doors but otherwise pretty good. Oh and the first level has a pretty tough learning curve. But then the surprise cameo really took me off-guard not sure why there's nothing in the credits or description about it. But Ryan Reynolds killed it I could not stop laughing. I guess maybe it's like a marketing thing? Wtver.
Anyway overall good puzzles, nice art, and incredible voice acting. 7/10 would play again.

A nice short little puzzle game. At first the puzzles were a touch easy, but there were some really satisfying harder puzzles near the end, especially puzzles involving the snow crab (plus I had fun figuring out a way to break the secret bonus puzzles). I also really appreciated the undo system and time pausing, which I normally only see in sokoban-likes and other grid based puzzle games. The story was also way more interesting than I expected it to be; it was light and didn't get in the way, but cut to some resonant themes with surprising economy.

Found this game at MAGfest 2020, immediately fell in love and have kept up with it ever since. Very happy with how it came out, from the gameplay to the visuals to the puzzles that stump me even on multiple play-throughs, this game is fantastic top to bottom and it belongs in your Steam library.

Puzzle games aren't usually my thing, but every now and then one comes out that has a well-engineered progression in which each new challenge is approachable, drawing a foundation of patterns that become tools as you progress through the story. It reminds me a bit of Baba is You in that way, and it also has the following going for it:
- Heartwarming story
- Awesome soundtrack
- A shrew on a bike
Looking forward to sinking some more relaxing hours into this one.

Having followed the progress of this game for years, I'm glad it is finally out and I can enjoy the finished product. This is a delightful and whimsical puzzle-platformer. The art is engaging and lovely, the dialogue cheerful and funny, and the characters are adorable. It is a lovely landscape upon which one embarks on a mind-reprogramming puzzle journey. The puzzles are devilishly difficult, but not impossible (yet - I've finished the demos and I foresee many, many days of working my way down this puzzle path). I like the mechanics, wherein one can Q roll back moves and try again (and again, and again) or just R rage quit the level and try again later after a bowl of ice cream.

I love puzzle games, but so often they miss the mark. Either being too short or insubstantial, having unsatisfying pacing and unpleasant difficulty spikes, or just badly designed. This is not one of those games. It has everything a puzzle gamer wants and hopes for. A nice satisfying learning curve, challenging puzzles that bring all the skills you've learned together, and secrets to find. I thoroughly enjoyed the beta, and it was nice seeing it shape up into something really special.
Not everyone enjoys slow paced thoughtful puzzle games like this, but if you do, this is definitely one you should experience. At the price it's an absolute steal too, which is nice!

A really cute and smartly done puzzle sidescroller where we explore a forest of color puzzles while trying to help a friend recover their lost bike.
I definitely recommend WoR to anyone who enjoy puzzlers. I found the puzzles fun to solve and really well designed. Especially the later puzzles that require a good brainstorming. Those are the kind of puzzles we can actually think about and solve while not playing the game when we are stuck. LoL
I liked that there was no jumping in the game. The game was pretty casual to play with zero stress as we can take all the time we want to figure out the puzzles. We can fall down and use elevators or teleporters to navigate. A very handy rewind key allows us to step back in time if we made any mistakes, or we can just use the reset key to move back to the last checkpoint.
The soundtrack was fun to listen to. There even is an in-game jukebox where we can switch between tunes. And I just love the game world unique art style and its quirky characters.
This is a great little indie game with some tricky puzzles, charming visuals and a very relaxing and casual atmosphere that I can only recommend to any puzzle lovers.

Full disclosure: I am the developer's girlfriend. It would be pretty impossible for me to write an unbiased review, so here is a biased one instead. (I did pay for the game myself, and he has no idea what's gonna be in my review.)
I first heard about Way of Rhea directly from the developer at a local game dev event. Even though I was not a big puzzle game person at the time, I took it upon myself to play the demo in full, because I was ridiculously attracted to the aforementioned developer. Now, I'll never know for sure whether the game had anything to do with it for not, but ever since then, I've become more and more attracted to the developer with each passing day.
I was one of the beta testers, so I have played the full game. I think my playtime came out to around 8-9 hours. It took me about a week to actually finish though, as the later puzzles get so complicated that I found myself having to put the game down to give myself extra time to think. There were a handful of puzzles where I asked him if he was certain *this* puzzle could be completed without doing some sort of crazy timing maneuver. (The answer to that is always yes.) They're incredibly well designed, the pacing is just right, and they all fit together nicely. It was made in a super solid custom engine, so the only way you'll run into any bugs is if you try really, really hard. Also, the characters are cute and the soundtracks slaps.
Highly recommended for any indie game enjoyer, whether puzzles are usually your thing or not!
